    Response to a recent new diagnosis causing health difficulties has been exceptional . Both GPS have been understanding and kind. Receptionists helpful. Thank you

    My experience so far has not been great - the doctors and nurses are fantastic (when you can get through to them) but the actual staff managing the surgery have not been the best, I’ve been given out of date swabs/tests from reception, receptionists given out the wrong “at home” tests due to not reading documents or notes, no updates on tests results and when asked why no updates are being recieved, told to ring back up in the morning and ask for a doctor to tell me why I’m not getting messages (which I don’t really think is the answer?) - just a general feeling of “can’t be bothered” is what comes across, feedback would be to look at peoples notes/read the information you are printing out for people - this would stop incorrect tests be in given out and might give a better understanding - but surgery staff have always been polite regardless of not always being the most helpful

    Thank you for your comments, I am sorry you are unsatisfied with the service. Due to our recent expansion, we have a lot of new staff in the surgery and it may be that the person who helped you on Reception was one of those new members. I have passed your comments on to the Reception Manager to look in to. With regards to you not receiving messages, please contact the surgery to ensure the number we have on file is the correct one for you.

    When I checked in at the Surgery, I was pleased to see that the information had been up-dated to show that I was to be seen in the lower area (The Drayton Dungeon!) I was attending for an INR blood sample to be taken. I was called on time, and the procedure was carried out efficiently with minimum fuss. In fact it was a case of 'Service with a Smile'. (As a syringe was used, I thought the heading was appropriate.) I have been asked 'How satisfied are you that the GP Practice involves you in decisions about your treatment?' In this instance it was a case of whether I wanted the blood taken from my right arm or my left arm. In this case it was the arm nearest to the Nurse! No discussion, just common sense!

    I had excellent examination and assurance. Swelling shows more when I stand up than lying flat. But nothi8ng to worry about!

    I have been with the Drayton for 38 years . I have always found them to be helpful and reassuring. Each year the population increases with more elderly patients needing more medical help and medication. We all like to think we are special but sadly we are just another number. Drayton seems to be doing an excellent job.

    My first time here as a transfer patient from cosham. Nurse and receptionist were both lovely so full marks for staff!!! However, the waiting room is badly in need of redecorating and felt dirty with stains on carpets and walls etc which could be easily and cheaply fixed up.

    Despite the hassle and waiting time spent trying to get through to the surgery on the phone, when you get there the staff are helpful and the service is pretty good.

    Poor NHS, it’s all about fire fighting rather than prevention. I have been seeking help from many avenues, I am told by pharmacies and psychologists to ask gp. GP suggestions have already not worked (NHS weight loss app) and the other suggestion of complex weight loss clinic is not appropriate as my BMI isn’t high enough. It’s a shame that I will only get help when I have put on more weight or when I have diabetes or a stroke. I was hoping that someone would help me before it got to this stage. I work for the NHS so completely understand the pressures, this issue is not related solely to my surgery or the GP that replied so I’m not criticising personally !

    The nurse I saw in your wootten street surgery was so lovely ! She really put me at ease and talked me through the whole procedure. I’m new as our old surgery closed and I’m so glad it did as I felt so much more welcomed and just found the whole experience better ! Thank you :)
