It is incredibly difficult to get an appointment with a Doctor. Since I teach the whole 8am calling is impossible- added to the fact that I cannot just ‘leave their office’. Cover needs to be arranged. So I filled in info online and awaited a response. This was to make a physio appointment. However I had no idea from the information sent what my complaint even might be. I am put off making an appointment and fear being none the wiser online. Again I am put off the online method (and it is only my second attempt to make an appointment in maybe 3/4 years) because you are not told what it is that the problem could be. I am Not surprised people go straight to A&E.

Thank you for your comments. We run a multi-disciplinary team at the surgery so if the GP has advised you to see physio, it is because they are more specialist within that area and will be able to give you more specific advice and diagnosis.

The appointment was on time there was a medical student there who I was very happy for him to take my blood. He was very careful and I hardly felt a thing.

Nice clean waiting room with plenty of chairs, free face mask as I had forgot mine, the nurse was polite and professional no pain with the needle. The text message worked perfectly which meant I had no worries the minute my results came back.

I found the health care professional polite and pleasant. She gave me all the advice and information I needed. I wanted to look up my results. Upstairs the receptionist I asked for guidance on viewing I was happy with the way my blood test were taken and the nurse explained the process about sharing the results,- whether and what determined whether I would be contacted or not. I asked what if I wanted to see my results and the nurse explained all that to me as well. Upstairs the receptionist was The nurse who took my bloods, was welcoming and explained the process to me. She told me when the results would be ready and that if the bloods were Ok there would be no reason to contact me. I asked if I could have a look at my results from a personal view point and she also explained that to me. Upstairs I asked the receptionist who was equally welcoming. She explained what I could do to see my results; she had sent me my access details by the time I got home. Unfortunately I have not looked at my results yet as I have been preparing to travel abroad for a family funeral this week. I will check the results on my return. Back to the review - the environment made me feel relaxed. I would also like to say I also find the reception area calm and inviting; it is probably the best GP reception area I seen. Thank you all.

Efficiency and helpfulness. The nurse offered to look into my referral to a pre-diabetes course and I received a phone call from them shortly afterwards.

Response to my information regarding my condition was responded to very quickly, although to e- consult had closed temporarily. The referral was also made immediately after examination.

Came in for blood tests and blood pressure test. The nurse was friendly and helpful. The checks were efficient and blood was taken painlessly. Always happy with the way my family are treated here

Completed an e consult, messaged back within an hour offering next day appointment. Attended appointment I was listened to and everything explained to me. My family have been patients at this surgery for nearly 17 years and we have always managed to get an appointment if needed. Sometimes there is a queue on the phone, but where isn't there these days.
