    The nurses at this practice are excellent. I have always had very positive times whenever I have been seen by a nurse. Almost impossible to see a Doctor!!

Please be assured we have one of the largest multidisciplinary clinical teams in Huddersfield, and we have diversified our range of skilled clinicians to improve patient access. I'm pleased that we have recently been able to recruit 3 new GPs into the team, after years of not being able to recruit.     Recently I've needed alot if help with medication prior to an operation. Reception staff have been very helpful as have pharmacy. Many thanks. The improvement that's taken place over the last 12 months is wonderful

    I went for a blood test last week and received really excellent service. Staff were polite and reassuring. The Grange has improved 100% over the past twelve months really well done

    I attempted to order a repeat prescription via the NHS app, first it was blocked then appeared to go through. I went to my usual pharmacy three days later, they had no trace of it. I was told to phone the practice which I did on the afternoon of May 16th. I was told it was too late to be processed that day but that it would be available late on the 17th. I managed to collect it on 18th at lunchtime, the day one of my medications ran out. I suspect the app blocked the prescription as I'm overdue for a medication review but the last time I was due for one I was told the practice had paused doing them. My concern is in order to sort this out I had to make a fruitless visit to the pharmacy and then have to chase the prescription.

    I requested a repeat prescription of Utrogestan which hadn't been dispensed by the pharmacy. I was informed it had not been sent by the surgery. I attended the surgery and spoke to the receptionist, who was most helpful, I was informed it had been refused by the pharmacist, no documentation stating why. I was slightly annoyed by this. I was advised by the receptionist to contact NHS 111 for an emergency prescription, which I did. I was also given an appointment to speak to the pharmacist. I attended another pharmacy to collect the prescription. I was given 9 tablets for the same price as a 3 month prescription of the same medication. I was contacted by the pharmacist four days later to discuss the matter.I asked why it had been stopped as my HRT medication had changed to patches. I don't recall being advised to stop Utrogestan. The pharmacist advised that I would have to contact the practice nurse to clarify why it had been stopped. I managed to get a cancellation phone appointment for a couple of days later. I received an evening call and it was clarified why the medication had been refused. If I had been aware of why, it would have saved time for all concerned and a great deal of anguish for me. In all, the process took a week, communication between Practitioner and patient wasn't clear, it was an expense that I didn't need. Maybe when patients medication is on repeat prescription and it is stopped, an email to inform the patient could be helpful? Emails are sent to patients regarding other services that are available at your surgery. Just a thought.

    Patch’s works extremely well and is such a better option than the E consult. Faster and more efficient. I would like to raise a concern about the pharmacy though. Twice I have had prescriptions sent my the gp or nurse and still after 2 days the prescription is not ready. Unsure how to get a message across but if it’s prescribed people and babies need it

    I completed 2 E-consult forms for, possibly, separate issues, 2 weeks ago. 5 clinicians later and neither of my problems have been diagnosed and my records are marked “no further action”.
