The staff at the Lawson Practice were excellent. Appointment was late but that was because there was a difficult case beforehand. Staff were great keeping me informed and physician was brilliant when I saw her. They got me in on the same day and were brilliant in following up to ensure I got the antibiotics I needed that day.

I feel like the doctor was not experienced enough to carry out the procedure. They did not have the necessary medical instruments in the room for what they were doing which meant they had to leave the room a number of times which prolonged the the whole procedure. I experienced severe pain and discomfort and wasn't offered any water when I felt faint or pain relief, I was given it but only after I asked. Very traumatic experience.

I was invited along for an annual checkup concerning my rheumatoid arthritis. Albeit I’m being monitored by a specialist, this is a good practice and one that I appreciate. The doctor I saw was very good. He had both a professional and friendly manner. He was very reaffirming about my condition. As much as I now have a good understanding of things, it’s always good to have that reinforced.

I went to the practise to do the above i was told i would need an initial telephone consultation with the duty doctor before 5-30pm today Monday 3rd July this happened quickly within 2 hours and my appointment is for tomorrow. I have one criticism i was told i would a reminder text confirming my appointment but up to now i have not received this.

I really appreciated that the doctor I was seeing also remembered that she previously saw me and asked about the problem I went to her for a few weeks ago, before trying to help me about my current problem. I thought this added a personal touch to the experience I had and made me feel comfortable. The doctor was very attentive and kind as well.

I was referred by my usual GP practice for minor surgery at the Lawson Practice. I was offered an appointment very promptly and when I attended I was seen on time. The procedure I had turned out to be rather more complicated than originally expected, and took longer to complete than envisaged. The doctor who did the procedure could not have been kinder or more efficient and she explained everything very clearly, and ensured throughout that I was in no pain. Her assistant was excellent, very reassuring and helpful throughout. Both ensured that I was clear about what I should do on my return home. This was my first visit to the Lawson Practice and I am impressed by the quality of the service I received there.

But I also had to book an appointment to speak to the pharmacist and ask for a patient record summary. I barely waited for the nurse. Was in and out quite efficiently. With regards to reception, the member of staff did not know and asked the medical secretary (who I've seen before and is great). She kindly directed me to the correct form to fill in. No waiting, no queuing, no fuss. I had my call with the pharmacist earlier and my problem was sorted easily. Thanks :)
