    Got my appointment through the e-consult. The practice quickly responded and I got my non urgent appointment within two weeks. My appointment started before the appointment time.

    As a 54 year old man who very rarely needs access to a GP I found the whole econsult process very frustrating, laborious and ultimately not fit for purpose. I felt the need to consult a GP about my blood pressure the econsult form offered no method of doing this, so I filled in the form using the options that best suited my condition, got to the end of the form to be informed that I needed to contact 111 as no service was available to, this is a basic requirement for thousands of patients, I had to go back through the whole form this time pretending I had anxiety in order to book an appointment. Overly complicated system and if you do suffer from stress or anxiety this method of booking an appointment surely adds to your condition. When I did actually arrive for my appointment at 3.20 there was a single patient in the waiting room in the whole 40 mins I was there waiting to go and see the GP who was very good and only needed no more than 10 mins to arrange blood tests and an ECG.

    The experience I had on the 5th February was very good.The doctor was very pleasant and helpful with my problem knee and the suggestion’s that she made hopefully will make my life more bearable.

    I have just changed to this surgery & couldn’t be more delighted by the polite kind staff at reception & really kind Doctor I saw , she did not rush me & was very thorough & supportive.

    I must admit it was with some trepidation that I went to the doctor’s surgery. Previous experiences have been wanting - you felt like you were on a timer and had to rattle through what was wrong with you so the next person could get seen. Felt like the personal touch was wanting. This, however, was the opposite of that. The surgery had obviously been working on its interpersonal skills. I was seen only a few minutes later than my allotted time and the doctor was fantastic. She listened to what I had to say, talked to me and I didn’t feel rushed to get out the door. Keep this up Lodge Surgery - very impressed!

    I saw Dr **** and I was so well looked after. I feel she went above and beyond despite being short for time. She really listened and was very diligent. She is a lovely GP.

    I was greeted by first name, immediately put at ease. Dr knew my history. Very thorough investigation. Explained next steps and reasons for them. Dr apologised for having to refer my case as she had really wanted to help me. Left appointment feeling that I had been heard

    I was seen very quickly with no waiting almost. The Gentleman Physiotherapist was very good and kind and helped me with my problem and hopefully will start to aid my recovery with the correct treatment and medication
