    I was seen just a few days after contacting the surgery for a followup appointment with a Nurse practitioner. I was referred and contacted that day by West Herts. Extremely efficient and quick and making use of technology, all joined up and working together. Great to see.

    I had my Diabetic review at Highfield Surgery with a male Nurse. I was very happy with my review and he answered all my questions. I left feeling very happy with the appointment and he phoned me later that day with a follow up answer to my medication.

    Booked 8am appointment. Stood at door until surgery opened at 8, went to screen to check in, not working. Even though I was first appt of the day, and only ones in the waiting room, we were 14 minutes late to be called in to the nurse. Both my appointment in 2 months that the surgery has been running late (the other one 40 mins late, but I don’t expect it first appt of the day. Care when it is revived is great, and I’m grateful for it. I would like two things to happen: 1) Advise when the surgery is opened if the screen is not working. 2) reception to come into the waiting room to advise approximately how late the appointments are running for the doctors/nurses/HCPs on that day.

    The GPs, secretaries and reception for my recent visit were attentive, caring and prompt. I was nervous about the outcome but by the time I left the appointment I felt calm and pleased with a path ahead.

    I received a quick response to my online request and seen by a clinician within 72hrs. I had a follow up personal consultation with a GP 48hrs later. I was treated with care, understanding and professionally throughout.

    Appointment for a phone consultation made a couple of weeks ago. Dr called during agreed time slot and was up to speed with my case. Very friendly and professional. Advice given & arranged to follow up.

    Can’t speak highly enough about the doctor dealing with my issues. Very helpful,thorough and informative. After my tests she rang me to give me the results. Wonderful service/just like the old days.

    I have no complaints with the overall service that I receive. It is sometimes difficult to get through on the phone but when I get through they are very helpful and efficient. The callback system does work well although it is very longwinded to complete the initial form required to book an appointment.
