Went to collect prescription from pharmacy 2 items missing. Tried to call surgery message prescription department closed at 3pm as was friday without medication over weekend called monday am Phone message open at 11am call again system said 8 calls waiting after 35 minutes got to 2nd in queue then cut off, this has happened several times before was almost expecting it as was a few minutes to 12 probably lunchtime. Then had to drive to the surgery as no point holding in the queue again to be cut off then department will close at 3pm.

Having suffered with depression for a long while and exhausted the conventional methods of CBT plus medication the practice has continued contact with me via telephone calls and provided verbal therapy. The commitment to helping me, bearing in mind the massive pressures on the NHS, through these problematic times has been so welcome.

This surgery is so busy, they serve a large area and have a lot of patients, however they always provide excellent service and really take care of their patients. When things are serious they go above and beyond to make sure their patients are cared for, we have only ever had great experiences with the surgery, particularly in their care of our children.

Since I became unwell four months ago I had to ask for help and the Doctors and reception and nurses have been so kind and helpfull this means a lot to me as I am on my own so it makes a huge difference to speak to a kind understanding person even the busy doctors have made house calls for which I am truly grateful I thank all concerned with my ongoing care

The receptionist was helpful, kind, respectful and reassuring. I was told I would get a triage call later that day, which I duly got . I was then given a phone call appointment within 24 hours and was picking up a prescription by the following day. It was all very efficient and I couldn't be happier!

Since our daughter was born in October 2021, we have had nothing but the best care for her at The Wallhouse. All the admin staff clearly work incredibly hard to keep this busy surgery running at full pelt for the community in incredibly challenging circumstances, and the doctors and nurses have provided consistently thoughtful, attuned and high-quality care and advice at every stage for our daughter and her ever-so-slightly anxious first-time parents! We’re considering a move to the south coast – one of the key things we’d miss is this surgery, and know we’d be lucky to find something of equal standing when we arrive. Thank you to the whole team – keep up your great work.
