    Having used the practice a number of times lately I have to say that it is a fantastic testament to the NHS. Staff go the extra mile every day, and patients are always the top priority.

    Absolutely shocking. Currently finding it impossible to make an appointment. Phone just rings and rings, can't get through to anyone. They say there is an online portal but there are no appointments available on there. Even when I've been there in person there is an extremely long line, I have severe anxiety and Work full time, incredibly difficult for me to negotiate that. Feeling very hopeless, I desperately need to make a gp appointment. I am a uk taxpayer, I should be able to use the nhs which I am paying for. Disgraceful.

    Dear Patient, Apologies for the late response. Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced in arranging an appointment at the Practice. GP Surgeries are experiencing significant and growing demand, and patients having to wait longer for appointments. We do offer walk-in face-to-face appointments and telephone consultations on a daily basis. We also have pre-bookable appointments every day, you can book by telephoning or by coming into the surgery in person. We provide online service to book an appointment with a doctor, nurse or other health care professionals. We offer E-Consults, which will enable you to contact Ferryview Health Centre anytime, and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. We also have weekday evening appointments between 6.30pm and 8.pm Monday to Friday, you can call or use our online services to book evening and weekend appointments.

    I've been registered with this surgery for about 18 months. Every GP, nurse or midwife I have seen has been good; professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Never had any negative experiences. The stand out for me though are the reception staff. They really are the best I've ever come across; kind and friendly, they are professional and so helpful. They really go out of their way to help each and every patient. I've seen many of them having to deal with really difficult situations, and they always do so in a professional, fair and efficient manner, always managing to have a helpful attitude and smile on their face. Amazing! I really hope the GPs and practice managers appreciate the excellent team they have. Thank you!

    Always same day telephone app if you ring at 8am. Receptionist always very polite and helpful. Drs take the time to listen with compassion and care.

    When I called Ferryview to ask about the result of a Dexa scan on the 13th December I was told a doctor would need to either see me or have a phone consultation. I phoned the next day and was given an appointment on the same day ( 12th Jan). The doctor I saw was most apologetic but the results of my scan hzf not been received, A wasted visit by me and an unnecessary appointment for the doctor, Who was at fault? Not an efficient use of time,

    Staff at the surgery demonstrated professionalism, the 6c’s of care and excellent service throughout. I called the surgery and requested a telephone consultation as l was unable to go to the surgery due to extreme pain. The Gp called me and advised me accordingly. Thank you to all the staff of Ferryview health centre.
