    I had to wait 20mins after my appointment and climb2flights of stairs with really bad back pain , but the Doctor was very good indeed with my problem very thorough and booked a physio appointment for about 6 weeks time

    Arrived for my sons appointment at 12:10 about 5 minutes early. By the time we were called in they were running about 45 minutes late, which meant anything I had booked afterwards needed rescheduling. Yes the nurse apologised, however that does not change the fact that it messed up the rest of our day on account of them not keeping to appointment times.

    After my on line enquiry I received a reply with appointments and a consultation date all quickly. After my blood testes the consultation was extremely informative and helpful. I am very pleased with the treatment I received from all the staff at the practice

    I received an email asking me to book a blood test. The email didn’t elaborate what the blood test was for. At the appointment I asked the HCA what the blood test was for and she said for thyroid. I mentioned that I normally have an annual review and also have blood tests for blood pressure and impaired fasting glucose. The HCA replied that she didn’t know what they were and she just did what the computer told her to do. This did nothing to instil confidence. I also mentioned that normally at my annual review I would normally have my blood pressure taken and weight recorded. Again I received a reply that all she did was take blood. The whole process seemed very disjointed and not a holistic approach. I felt that it wasn’t an annual review at all, and would probably necessitate a further appointment. This is not in the patients best interests at all. I felt the HCA required further training. It was. HCA that I saw the previous year who was exemplary, and I had a very positive experience.

    Spent all day trying to book an appointment including going to the actual surgery trying online, two hour long holds on the phone before someone answered to be told I had to do it online. I finally did it and got a message the next day to say I have an appointment in 4 weeks. 4 weeks! I can’t believe it. I genuinely thought it was a mistake. It’s unbelievable.

Information on how best to get in touch with us can be found on our website. https://www.vinemedicalgroup.co.uk/pages/appointments.php We do find that there can be a long wait on the phones especially during peak times, so going online between 08:00 and 17:00 is the quickest way to submit your case.     Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comment. I'm sorry to hear you find making an appointment a long winded process. We have many different types of clinician who are able to see and treat a variety of illnesses. In addition, demand for appointments remains high. In order to ensure the right patients, get seen by the right people at the right time, we do have to ensure appointments are triaged appropriately. This does mean that our online system, Anima, takes a few minutes to fill out, but does ensure that you see the right person and don't end up with a wasted appointment.
