Excellent care and very helpful GP arranged physio blood tests & X-rays straight away & referral to the appropriate specialist

I have been a patient at this practice for over 50 years and whilst the doctors have changed over the years, the practice always seems to retain the same ethos of care and professionalism. Even through the recent pandemic I feel they have worked really hard to maintain a good level of care.

I had a sore on my back that was infected. I told the receptionist this I said I needed antibiotics. She gave me an appointment 10 weeks in the future. If I had waited that long I would have ended up in hospital. I rang 111 they got me in the same day and I got antibiotic Cream.

Every time I have visited the doctor or nurse, I have had everything explained clearly to me, every member of staff is friendly and helpful. I feel confident I am understood and well looked after.

Doctor seemed very disinterested - had been told by hospital to follow up issue with GP - GP did no checks, read a few notes and said should be ok

My mum changed to this practice just before the pandemic hit. It was the best thing she has ever done all the staff are brilliant with her. They always check shes ok when shes been really poorly. Mum loves the drs nurses and reception. My Mums 87 yrs old and is so happy shes found such a good surgery. Well done wincobank medical centre keep up the good work.

I have had a few occasions to consult with my GPs recently particularly during end-of-life care for my mother. They were able to attend and react promptly to my mother's changing condition. They offered solace and advice as well as attending to medical matters. Personally I have an ongoing problem of a sensitive nature which was been dealt with well. I always find the reception staff polite and helpful. Where necessary messages are promptly passed including recent difficultly with a medicine that was out of supply. The in-house pharmacist was quick to dealt with the required change and the matter was resolved within hours. I have spoken to friends about my GP experiences and recommended them several times overthe last few months and years.

All the reception staff, nurses and doctors are very much compassionate while listening to my medical issues and helping to solve it .
