I have always had great service and attention from all sections of the Windrush practice. My most recent visit was for a regular standard blood test, expertly carried out. In addition, a leg wound I had suffered the day before was examined and re- dressed, an extra and unexpected request by me which was sorted out without problem and much appreciated by me. Only problem I have is the queue on the phones when trying to get a doctor's appointment. It's disheartening to realize you are number 26 in the queue so you just give up. However, I do understand the increase in the demand for service from this very popular practice and now try to use their website services instead where appropriate.

I received an appointment which was 30 minutes after requesting it. The nurse carefully and thoroughly examined my ear and then gave me a prescription for ear drops. Later in the day I needed advice and treatment for a problem with my back which occurred following a dermatolgical procedure, once again I received an appointment very shortly after I phoned. The nurse again made a comprehensive examination ; she subsequently, after consulting with a doctor telephoned me to advise me to collect a prescription. In both cases I was given the best and most sympathetic treatment that I could have wished for.

I was able to make an appointment with a nurse on the day I phoned. I was seen on time. She listened carefully to my health issue and this is now being resolved

Got through on the phone fairly quickly and was offered an appointment the same morning was pleased as was going on hoilday next day

The advice and clarification from the GP was excellent. The receptionist seemed not to understand my request for my medical records to be available on the NHS app. I’m sure she’s now checked with the ‘team’ and my request will be acted on

Called at short notice referred to acute care, saw a clinical practitioner diagnosed quickly and efficiently proscribed medicine, and gave onward advice great service.

Had to wait a long time for my appointment as the doctor was running late. The reason she was running late was because she actually listened to me and obviously had been doing the same for all her previous patients. I came out not minding the long wait because I felt somebody was actually going to do something to help me at last.

I was seen on time, the Nurse was very welcoming, made me feel at ease and did a good job. It was a pleasure to have needles put in me by such a nice team :-)
