I had an appointment for some bloods taking, I arrived a little early and booked in using the self login . I was seen slightly earlier then appointment time, the nurse that took my blood was excellent and very professional .

My toddler was unwell the dr took the time to really examine him before making the decision to advise me to take him A&E, The dr was friendly, caring and tried to make me feel at ease

I felt at ease and relieved seeing the doctor. He was efficient, friendly and informative. To me this practice seems efficient and helpful.

I phoned for a GP appointment but was given an Associate Practitioner instead. I find it frustrating that when you phone for an appointment you are not able to see a GP. I asked if there was a GP available and then had to explain the problem and was told the other person could deal with the issue. This may be the case but I feel that if you ask for a GP appointment that is what you should be given. You shouldn’t have to prove/ pass a quality assurance test in order to be seen by a fully qualified medical professional.

Easy to get an appointment. Clinician was very sympathetic, understanding and thorough. Explained everything well and clearly set out the steps to be taken.

I made the same day appointment due to having signs of infection in my recent operation wounds. I saw a physician, which was okay. She was lovely and checked my wounds and I did indeed have an infection. She prescribed me antibiotics and said the doctor needed to sign this off and to call back later the same day to pick up from pharmacy next door. Again this was okay as only a few hours to wait. Called back at said time and pharmacy argued you can not get same day prescriptions, even for antibiotics. I called into the surgery to speak with the receptionist. She explained that the doctor had been very busy and hadn't signed off any prescription as yet and would be following day. I am not complaining about the doctor being busy, but if you have physicians in the lighten the load, help out why can they not hand out prescriptions. She's good enough to diagnose a problem but not give treatment.
