  1. Review titled Great follow up callback

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jason - Posted on 14 May 2024

I contacted Wrafton House Surgery and was given the option for a callback as there was a lengthy queue (29th). After about an hour I had a callback and requested a call from a nurse. Later that afternoon I was called by a nurse and my concern's were duly addressed, great service and caring nurse.

The nurses and doctor who saw me for my smear test were very caring and compassionate when treating me. The nurses spent time with me to discuss my concerns and gave good advice and follow up.

I couldn't get through on the phone but they had a option to save you place in the queue and gave me a ring back when it was my turn. It must be new as I have never had this option before but think its a great option to have and also the receptionist was helpful and understanding and help me with a phone call back from the doctor. Thank you wrafton House

Dear Mr Reeves Thank you so much for giving us a five star review. You are correct, we have had a new telephone system installed recently, which on the whole is getting good reviews. Lots of patients like the call back feature as it saves them hanging on the telephone. I will share your review with the whole team who I know will be delighted to read it. You may like to look at using e consults next time which are on our website www.wraftonhosuesurgery.co.uk There is a form to complete and you will either get a call back or a message. Kind regards Sylvia Lane Practice Manager

  5. Review titled Sympathetic Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Peter Garratt - Posted on 30 April 2024

I am in rehabilitation following a shoulder injury and have had some issues with pain management, sleep, anxiety and concerns over my blood pressure. I have used the eConsult service to gain advice and I have to say I have found it responsive and useful. Advice has been given and, on occasion, both GPs and practice nurses have telephoned when circumstances suggest it would be useful. This has engendered the feeling the practice is ‘there’ for me, which is both comforting and reassuring. I have sometimes felt I have been ‘bothering’ the practice, but the quality of responses suggests quite the opposite.

  6. Review titled Very friendly practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Greg Skinner - Posted on 23 April 2024

I had a call from the practice following submitting annual blood pressure readings. She was very reassuring about the readings. Offered a health check and arranged it for the next day and also managed to get me an appointment with a doctor for an unrelated issue to coincide with the health check. She could not have been friendlier or more helpful

  7. Review titled Great experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 April 2024

Call in connection with request for new prescription and nurse was wonderful. Very helpful and also booked me for a blood test to do a full health check. Talked though my history and was in no rush to get me off the phone. Checked through my records also noticed that would be a good idea to pop by and do my blood pressure too. Prescription was done whilst on the call. Outstanding care. Thank you.

  9. Review titled Worse treatment

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by A patient - Posted on 11 April 2024

For more than a month now, I've been awaiting the provision of compression socks for my husband, who suffers from both motor neurone disease and dvt (thrombosis). However, I keep getting passed from one person to another, with nobody taking responsibility to resolve the issue. Each time I inquire, blame is shifted onto someone else, resulting in a frustrating lack of progress. Despite the urgency, there's been no prescription issued for the compression socks, and measurements haven't been taken. These compression socks are vital for my husband's condition. His feet are turning blue, he's lost the ability to move his toes, and his mobility is severely impaired, making walking increasingly difficult. The ongoing delay and lack of action are extremely stressful and disheartening. It's deeply concerning that there seems to be a lack of care and responsibility for patients' well-being. Why is there such incompetence and disregard for patients like my husband?

  10. Review titled Good Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Susan Okeke - Posted on 29 April 2024

I like my usual general practitioner. I feel better whenever I see him for consultation. He is very caring and attentive to make sure that my health condition is improving. I would recommend other people when asked which GP clinic they should register with. Everyone at the practice is very hard working and I wish them well and God blessings to them.
