I had a face to face appointment with the GP on the same day I phoned. She was lovely. Very caring and listened to me. I didn’t have to wait too long before I was called either. Great service. Thanks Wrafton House

Your Review: Receptionist worked hard to get me an appointment and the GP called as planned. Unfortunately GP didn’t give correct dosing instructions for meds which resulted in having to ask for help from surgery. Very helpful receptionist then organised a phone call from a prescribing nurse. When she called she was brilliant. Really helpful, knowledgeable and able to sort out meds, advise and correct the prescription without fuss. It does seem that the surgery staff are working very hard and are committed to their patients but have limited resources and heavy demands in them. Really appreciated the time of the receptionists and skills of the nurse practitioner who sorted out my situation really positively. Thank you.

Dr was really patient and caring and listened to my problems, receptionist was Very helpful. I went to wrafton house yesterday to see the nurse and was immediately given an appointment to see the doctor at northdown road the following day .

I hate to say but this is the worse gp I have seen so far never answering phone if they do and the is one specific lady answering the phone she rude and hangs down the phone In the middle of conversations how could she do that if she can't handle or deal with patients then she shouldn't be doing her job as gp receptionist or furthermore she should be working in the NHS at all. Once u manage to book the appointment and they give you the time to come in they are always late to see or speak yo the doctor and then once you in the room speaking yo the doctor he says i haven't got much time to spend on talking to you as j got others waiting. For me this experience is unacceptable and unbelievable how they treat their patients and then they wonder why do people change gp clinics. Please try to be at least professional at what you doing as no body did force you to work in NHS and be respectful to patients

We are hoping to install a new telephone service in the not too distant future which should make ringing for an appointment much easier. Doctors and nurses often run late for patients as they try to ensure each patient is looked after. I am really sorry that your experience failed to live up to this. I am not sure quite why I continue to be a registered patient with this practice after 27 years. Communication is practically impossible with either the line being engaged or an extensive queue. The receptionists do their utmost and the nurses knock themselves out. The Dr's however seem ambivalent about their entire remit with their hippocratic oath and the care of their patients.

Hard working receptionists very understanding. The nurses are exceptional. Along with a credible team of doctors who are also hard working .

Whenever I have tried to get booked in the lines are either busy or I’m in a 7+ person queue and it hangs up, to just be told to call back the next morning and repeat the same process again. if you ever actually get through to see the doctors they are far better, however you can tell they are rushing through their appointments. No empathy from the reception team either.
