  2. Review titled Pointless having a doctors

Rated 1 star out of 5

Worst doctors ever, can never get an appointment, the call back person wasn’t even medically trained so pointless call. My baby had infected eye for months and they kept losing his swabs and just never rang back to let me know, You ring and no one has a clue they fob you off to the next person. For 3 months back and forth and still no outcome, terrible surgery, and terrible service. If you're not a child you can never get an appointment the anima app doesn’t even work all appointments gone in seconds.

  3. Review titled Disgraceful service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Deb - Posted on 29 January 2024

Tried for almost 3wks to get on anima to see or speak with GP, no joy sat on the phone for an hr,was number 70 i still waited. Finally got to talk to reception only to be told nothing they can do try nxt day or go walkin. I went to walk in and sat for almost 6hrs to see a doc for 2/3 mins I had an abcess in my ear, given antibiotic drops, I feel this was all unnecessary taking valuable hospital time up wen if my GP had seen me I could of had same drops given in less the time. Why is it you can never get to see a doctor in Oakham Surgery!! The waiting room is always empty. This really needs looking at before it causes a death!service is appalling.

  4. Review titled The worst surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

The online booking system is awful, you will never get an appointment with this terrible procedure you have to rush your answers to get to the end and by then it's too late. I feel sorry for the elderly who will never be able to get through. Why say come back at 8 am following day when the system doesn't even accept anything at 8am it's all booked up. I have no faith or hope for this surgery anymore and for my small children's sake I will be leaving this place today.

  6. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

I'm still on the phone as I I'm writing this review. Been on the phone for 1 hour 16 minutes so far and I'm number 9 still from number 34. It is ridiculous come on this is 21 century, I have rung 111 and they told me to ring in 2 hours so thy can sort me some antibiotics. I'm at work how do you expect people to work and try and be on phone for hours. We all understand that we are busy but do you as a health provider expect patients to loose their job while attempting to get some treatment? Is this system and surgery likely to change any time soon ?

  7. Review titled Unhelpful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 October 2023

I have been trying to get my correct medication for a while now. I managed to log on and select repeat prescription but noticed the dosage on the system is incorrect. I put a clear note on to say that the neurologist hadn't prescribed that medication at that dose and all I get is a text to say they don't have any letters from him. This was in 2019 and I have all my copies, so surely its unsafe if they either don't look at the letters on the system or are not filing them. I am told to raise an anima request nothing else!! Shocking service and surely a clinical risk. Now have to wait until tomorrow at 8 and the miracle I can raise a request

  8. Review titled Failing system

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Judith - Posted on 04 October 2023

This used to be a really good practice. Sadly I feel that the introduction of the new Anima system has made the practice so difficult to access. By 8.01 it no longer takes any new submissions. As this appears to be the only way to get help for a medical problem, I have to conclude that the system is not fit for purpose.

  9. Review titled Ridiculous

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 August 2023

It is terible i have tried to get an appointmentthrough the app by the time i had to update my details the appointments option was not available any longer. I rung straight after and was on the phone for 58 minutes just to be told there were no more appointment. This is not good enough, not patient friendly at all I know all nhs is stretch but this is terrible. The system is not good enough things has to change. The person on the phone apologise and u did say its not her fault. Apart from me going to queue up outside the surgery at 8.00 in the morning I'm in my 70s how is that patient friendly I'm also not very technical to do the amina app. How do you as a health surgery you help me and others in my position. Things has to change to help people like me. Surely after being in the newspaper and so many complain and bad reviews you need to change thing.

  10. Review titled Unorganised and useless.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 September 2023

This surgery has got to be the most poorly operated surgeries i’ve ever seen. Management seriously need to rethink their system especially seeing as a gp surgery is made for patients and they can’t seem to accommodate their’s properly. Ive never had any trouble with nurse appointments or prescriptions however, getting a doctors appointment is like squeezing blood out of a brick. I work in a gp surgery myself and I always take patient complaints with a pinch of salt because i think about how this one’s operated compared to the one i work in. It’s 2023, why aren’t people allowed to book in advance it’s an absolute joke. People have lives, no everyone has time to wait around on the phone for a same day appointment. This surgery seriously needs to be looked into or shut down because there’s no point having a surgery that can’t operate properly or satisfy it’s patient. I mean at least have a functioning website?!!!
