On Tuesday 17-01-23 we called ambulance to Wickham Bishops Essex to attend to an elderly relative. It arrived in 30mins, less than the expected 40minutes. the crew were exemplary. On Saturday 21-01-23 My daughter called another ambulance for the same relative (96)and we also came to the scene. Once again the paramedics arrived in 20 minutes approx and the crew were once again exemplary, helpful, caring and compassionate and excellent bedside manner. This time the patient was taken to hospital. Full marks plus to four marvellous paramedics.

The two team members could not have been more kind and supportive to my husband. They dealt with him in a gracious and professional manner throughout, keeping us up to date with progress. Bless you for your kindness

Excellent service, husband dialled 999 quickly assessed over the phone, then ambulance arrived within 30 minutes. Friendly and efficient assessment on arrival. Calm and reassuring attitude. Not feeling rushed. In light of recent media the service provided couldn’t be faulted.

Ronnie was very poorly and frightened with shortness of breath, 111 told us to call 999. A bit of a wait and staff arrived, freezing weather and roads. He was treated professionally, patiently and kindly. A specialist paramedic was called who was able to give Ronnie the medication he needed and enable him to be treated at home. Thank you to all staff including 111 and 999

My husband needed an ambulance after contracting pneumonia. Ambulance arrived quickly and crew were amazing. Can't thank them enough.

This Monday. The coldest on record for years. Heavy snowfall and impassable roads. Mid day 2degrees below - my wife collapsed in the kitchen and I thought it was a stroke or heart attack. I called 999 but then I cut off as my wife started to come round. The service called me back reassured me and said they were on their way. Within 35 mins they arrived and three stupendous guys reassured and examined Den. Long story short she is Ok and the next day our local GP from the report from the Ambulance service is arranging the necessary investigations. Thank you so much You are all Heroes

Review titled 10 hours wait for a stroke victim

My fathers GP advised I call an ambulance as they felt he was having a stroke. I was told there was a 10 hour wait which was incredibly frightening. I took him to A&E myself and hoped for the best in the end. It makes you scared to need medical assistance these days!

11th Dec my sister was attended by paramedics and as she was 90years old and by herself they prepared her for admission to Broomfield hospital. They sorted her handbag, gave her sufficient money to take with her and kindly placed her purse and an envelope of money is a safe place in the house. They took item she would need , left the house secure and advised us of the position. This was the seventh time this year they had been called and each time their service has been very good indeed. We would like to thank all those concerned. Well done.

My husband was having serious difficulties in breathing because of an asthma attack. The response of the paramedic and ambulance staff was outstanding. They were professional, compassionate, focused,treated him with respect, did thorough tests and probably saved his life We wish to show our appreciation

I had to call for a ambulance as my partner was having a hypo and all my efforts to raise levels wasn't working, two paramedics arrived within less that ten minutes, they was absolutely fantastic, took control of the situation, in a caring and calming way. I knew my partner was in safe hands. They got to work and after a short while got him to come around, and stayed to make sure he was OK. The emergency services don't always get the praise they deserve, but they really are hero's without capes! Thank you so much.
