Review titled Great team
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lynda Jacob - Posted on 15 May 2024
Two paramedics and a student. Came to assist my mother in law. They were friendly polite caring and did everything to keep my mother in law calm. She had fallen and we couldn't get her up. They got her up and.looked after her and kept us in the loop. After all checks it was agreed she didn't need to go to hospital and we agreed with this. These men are saints.

Review titled Caring and compassionate service

Really appreciate the care that was offered to my mother when she collapsed while shopping at Sainsbury’s (late afternoon 17 May ‘24). My mother reported the first responder was very kind, respectful and extremely thorough. Similarly, the paramedics who took her to Hillingdon Hospital, were equally so, using humour to allay her fears. Please convey our gratitude to those three excellent members of the LAS, who treated my mum with respect and kindness and importantly made sure she was safe. They probably think they were ‘just doing their job’ but my mum thought they went above and beyond. Thank you (all) very much.

The paramedic was so reassuring in our time of stress and worry. Thorough, kind, patient, warm and professional. A really wonderful paramedic in a service under extreme pressure. My partner received the best treatment and was correctly advised.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

On Friday 26th April I fell and fractured my humerus. A paramedic from Westminster arrived within 40 mins, eased my discomfort and was so pleasant, professional and reassuring. The ambulance arrived just 10 mins later (also from Westminster) and were equally brilliant. Thank you.

Review titled Thank you
Rated 5 stars out of 5

On 25th March 2024 T and J of the NHS ambulance service (y902 cad 1426) attended my mother at home. Their professionalism and the way they took care of her was absolutely remarkable. Their kindness went beyond. As a nurse, I really appreciated their empathy. Thank you. You have no idea how much that meant to my mother and me at such a distressful moment.

Review titled Compassionate and responsive
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My brother in London has mental health struggles , recently I became increasingly concerned for his welfare when speaking to him on the phone, I was in Ireland and unable to go and see him to check on him in person. I was calling daily and he was becoming more and more despondent, negative and uncommunicative. I made a call to the London ambulance service via 111 to request a welfare check. Within hours a crew had called on him, they sat , took time to really have a conversation with him and offer support not just as a pair of ears but by sharing lived experience , coping techniques and further places and people he could receive support from when struggling on very dark days. They followed up with his doctor and as a result he has been given further support and is now on his way back to better mental health .I cannot say thank you enough for their responsiveness, professionalism and sheer kindness shown to a man struggling to see the way out, and for his family who were not able to provide that in the moment one to one contact that was so needed
