From the two lovely ladies that checked me out at home and escorted me to hospital to all the staff and the hospital. You did a great job your all over worked and under paid no idea how you keep your enthusiasm so high when you guys/girls are so busy appreciate you all. Was dropped at queen's yesterday early afternoon. Not easy for aan to ask for help but you was all amazing apart from the grumpy tea lady lol Wish you all a very very happy Christmas. Hopefully you get a bonus. Cause you all deserve it. Highly pressured job. Never see you guys have a lunch break either. That's awful btw. Keep up the good work x

  2. Review titled Professional, quick, and genuinely kind

Rated 5 stars out of 5

On Christmas day I had a vaginal bleed at 27 weeks pregnant. I was very worried for baby and myself. Within 10 minutes of calling 999, one paramedic came. I was an absolute wreck by the time she came. She first held my hands and calmed me down quickly and started doing necessary checks while obtaining my medical history. She was soon joined by two other paramedics who were equally professional and gentle. At the time of the incident I was alone at home with my six year old. They kindly told me there's nothing wrong with my kid accompanying me to hospital as there was no one to care for her. They also strapped my kid securely in the ambulance and drove us to the hospital at which point my husband also joined me. At the hand over, they efficiently and comprehensively explained everything to the midwife. Thereafter I was looked after at the maternity ward by a very kind midwife and a very caring and professional doctor. My husband and I are very grateful to have received such kind and professional care. We are also grateful to have met genuinely humane paramedics! May all of you be blessed with good health 🙏🏾

  3. Review titled Outstanding paramedics

Rated 5 stars out of 5

(12/12/23 22.30 cad 6178) I called 111 because my wife had starting choking and couldn't breath properly. Three paramedics arrived within 14 minutes while the telephone operator kept me on the phone talked me through, helping me keep my wife stable. Upon arrival they were polite, efficient, calm, reassuring and worked incredibly quickly. They listened to everything I told them about my wife's pre-existing conditions and proceeded to clear the blockage that was causing the problem. They then waited to make sure she had properly recovered. They were kind and calming and even managed to make us both laugh once they had solved the crisis. These guys are what makes the NHS great.

The LAS crew attended to see my dad this morning. They took such good care of him, were amazing in every way. We are so grateful for their care. I don’t have their Crew number and I’m not allowed to say their names on here but honestly, the work they did was incredible and we were really lucky to have such wonderful people looking after us. Thank you so much LAS, you do a wonderful job and we can’t thank you enough!

On Nov 19. 3 ambulance crew members attended my flat following my babies breathing difficulties and subsequent croup diagnosis. I cannot thank them enough for their speedy attendance, how professional and efficient they were. They were also incredibly supportive at a difficult and scary time for us all. (We are based in Hackney and the call was made at aprox 11.15 pm) Thank you for the amazing work you do.

  6. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My 92 year old mum was unwell and required an ambulance on Saturday 7th October, 2023. The 111 doctor arranged a category 2 ambulance which arrived in minutes. There were 3 Paramedics Cad 3023? We were overwhelmed by the outstanding care and attention my mum received by this wonderful team. The team were all so kind, caring and demonstrated excellent communication skills both with my mum and also with myself. We were all anxious regarding my mums condition but the team were so calm and reassuring that we immediately felt at ease. On arrival at Hillingdon hospital, we were taken to the A&E department and waited a very short time before being seen. Our team of Paramedics gave us constant updates and reassurance and even ensured I had a chair to sit with my mum. They chatted and reassured us until we were taken through to the next area. We are so grateful to have received such wonderful care and we would like to express our thanks. This team deserve the recognition for such outstanding care. We are blessed to still have our NHS service and we are just so grateful to our team. Thank-you!

  9. Review titled Please pass on my thanks

    by hawkjw37 - Posted on 04 September 2023

I tripped over and landed on my nose and started to bleed fairly badly. I pinched my nose until the ambulance arrived. I was seen by the paramedics who checked my medical record thoroughly. They kept me talking the whole time. I was taken to the emergency department at Croydon University Hospital by the London Ambulance Service. I was has seen very quickly and had 2 sets of XRays taken. My finger was popped back in the place. Please pass on my thanks to the staff at the new Addington ambulance station, and both the emergency department and urgent care centre at Croydon University Hospital.

I had a pinching nerve on my upper back neck and arm. I was already taking strong drugs but he decided to apply morphine injection. He also massaged the area and suggested exercise routine.
