  1. Review titled Really good

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The doctor couldn't be more help fill and reassuring, how ever go have more chance of getting an audience with the pope than getting a parking place. No wonder people are late for appointments or miss them altogether with the terrible parking situation.

I attended for Maxillofacial surgery yesterday. The team that carried out the small op were very reassuring with a good sense of humour as I was very anxious. A very big thank you to them.

  3. Review titled Informative, professional and caring

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I've recently been into Arrowe Park for Gallbladder surgery. I cannot fault the whole procedure from diagnosis to after care. The nurses, surgeon, theatre staff, anesthetist were informative, caring and professional throughout the process. The care was outstanding! Thank you NHS and thank you to the amazing staff that commit their lives to these professions.

  4. Review titled Arrowe Park Hospital parking

    by Usetk68 - Posted on 20 January 2023

Three times I had appointments at Arrowe Park Hospital and always had issue finding a parking spot. On the last occasion I even missed my appointment as I was late by 10 minutes cause I was not able to find a parking spot for over 40 minutes, even in paid parking lot. I understand the hospital's policy of cancelling appointment if you are late by 10 min, but in that case you need to come minimum an hour in advance to be able to make it to the appointment and no one really cares for parking issues and not willing to accept if you are 12 minutes late even when you have an emergency appointment. This is simply ridiculous how unorganised parking spaces are in Arrowe Park Hospital. It takes quicker to drive to hospital in Liverpool, which has no parking issues, and attend any appointment than surfing around trying to find a spot in Arrowe Park Hospital's parking lots.

  5. Review titled Waiting over 12 months to see a dermatologist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 January 2024

It has taken me years to get this referral, I waiting 6 months for a referral that had not been made, I only found out because I called to check on a referral only to be told it didn’t wxist, I was devastated, the Drs apologised then made a referral, I called the clinics 6 months after and they told me it would be a 12 month wait, I’ve been waiting 13 months including the time my drs wasted. I’ve been to my drs and gun clinic numerous times since I was 14 (I’m 25 now) asking if they can diagnose a skin condition that’s effected my everyday life, My drs finally referred me to a dermatologist because I have a “Very rare” skin condition, I want to see a private dermatologist but don’t know where to start looking as I understand NHS just don’t have the resources. I fainted and shook on the floor banging my head till it bruised as if I had a mini seizure, fatigued, headaches, I waited 9 days for bloods at my drs as A&E said it would take 7 hours before I could see a dr and a lot more to get the tests I need to see what’s wrong, I have not been send for a MRI yet and nothing is getting better. I met a old women at A&E that told me she had been there 10 hours and not yet seen anyone, the temporary waiting room is very small at Arrow Park, there was no where to sit down, people everywhere, police, drunks and vulnerable people in the same small room, chaos, the NHS need access to more resources asap. The staff and great but over worked and under appreciate!

  6. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Emma Louise Dilworth - Posted on 22 February 2024

The worst operation I have ever had a laparoscopy, in 2020 December, Staff unprofessional, as well as left without follow up appointment or check up. the surgeon did not even contact me afterwards the one that done the procedure. I also feel I was left without follow up to check stitches or healing because I was a wheelchair user. They made a big deal about taking me in my wheelchair to theatre.

My daughter received the most amazing service from the Ambulance Service who arrived within 15 minutes of our call to all of the A &E staff as well as Haematology and the x-ray department who cared and looked after our precious daughter. Thank you all so very much.

  9. Review titled Fantastic treatment and staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by John Kelly - Posted on 28 November 2022

My wife had a sudden ruptured appendix and had to have an emergency operation - from the young Irish Doctor,Surgeons, nurses, ecg lady and porters in A&E to the the continued care and treatment was first class. Up to Emergency Surgical Ward 17 and after op recovery Ward 18 and the fantastic care from the Doctors, Nurses, Care Assistants, Cleaners was superb, the empathy and compassion they all showed was just so comforting for both of us - nothing was too much trouble. My wife was in a very serious condition and I dread to think what would have happened if the service and speed of treatment provided to her hadn’t been as good as it was - it might have been a far worse outcome for us. So thank you to all of those involved in my wife’s care she’s well on the road to (a slow) recovery. Where would we be without our NHS - the jewel in our crown, they step up when needed!

My son was in A and E with anaphalactic shock. The staff were brilliant and supportive to my son and myself. He had to stay in 5 days and the staff on ward 22 were equally lovely and supportive. Thankyou
