Currently at bassetlaw hospital with my partner on a2 maternity ward, the staff are very friendly and show alot of consideration to their patients. I was asked if i wanted breakfast and a drink unlike other hospitals. the staff have made my partner feel very relaxed while waiting to go onto the labour ward

What an excellent employee who only works one day a week unfortunately, staff should take example from his lead, someone who cares, definitely in the right environment. Bedside manner exemplary. What a wonderful doctor. Thank you for at last diagnosing my frozen shoulder on top of my torn rotator cuff After 3 years. A huge credit to an and e.

Review titled I will never forget this whole experience x
by KKR94 - Posted on 02 February 2023
I was due to be induced, I was hoping for a quick inducement but that didn't happen due to how busy the labour ward was. One of the midwives broke my waters at 2 am in the morning and it was time for a baby! With how fast my contractions was coming I thought it was going to be a quick labour, they was coming every 4 minutes and so strong! I had a few complications along the way, with the baby's heart rate dropping quite low and the doctors was so fast to act upon it, I also had an infection somewhere so I had to be put on antibiotics drip. The last heart rate dip, one of the doctors came in and examined me and said I can start pushing otherwise it’s an emergency C-section. I had to push with no feeling of contractions due to having an epidural. An hour went by of pushing and my little girl was delivered safely. She had to be checked over by the baby doctors and a cannula put in to start antibiotics due to me having an infection. The aftercare was also amazing on A2, I just want to thank all the midwives and health care workers. You are such a huge credit to the hospital. So professional, made me feel at ease even when they could see I was panicking. My baby girl is healthy and doing so well. I will never forget this whole experience. x

Review titled Made me feel very comfortable
by victorhj97 - Posted on 06 January 2023
Went for routine breast screening. Was seen by a very kind and genuine radiographer. She made me feel very comfortable (and this hasn't always been the case). I felt she was very much in the right job. Didn't catch her name but would like to say thank you.

Review titled Primary care at Bassetlaw Hospital
by TayM - Posted on 09 December 2022
Your service was the best I’ve received, the receptionist and doctor were so caring and helpful to my daughter. She has Strep A and I was very worried. You guys put my faith back in to healthcare. Nothing was too much and your doctor even got my little girl smiling. Thank you so much for all your amazing work you guys are doing and even in these stressful busy times you still manage to treat patients with empathy and respect! Well done.

Review titled Follow up clinic appointments
by Emmfn56 - Posted on 11 November 2022
I have been seen at the Difficult Asthma clinic. I have twice had my 3 month review appointments cancelled. They have changed a lot of medications. I was last seen in July. I got an appointment for late December today and then had an email letter to say that appointment is cancelled and my next one will be in April 2023. No explanation. I need to have regular blood tests on this new medication. I have no idea how I go about getting them. I am absolutely gutted and angry that I have been treated this way. Not for the 1st time
