However from the morning I entered ward 18 untill my discharge 5 days later (couple of small concerns with bleeding) I can honestly say the understanding cleanliness food but most of all the amazing team both days and nights went above and beyond to express concern for me ensuring my safety at all times making sure I was given medication for pain and in general were so friendly top marks to you all love and gratitude alice 😀

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The staff on ward 20 are amazing, made my mum feel at ease from the moment she entered the ward. They were all very kind and supportive, which made the procedure less stressful for everyone. Everything was explained clearly before and after, perfect service.

I attended this hospital today for an MIR scan. All of the staff that I encountered in the X-ray department were marvellous, professional and most importantly, very caring. Please pass on to them my grateful thanks.

  5. Review titled Caring, clean & professional.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Contacted 111 following sustaining an ankle injury the previous night. Initial appointment booked for the urgent treatment centre. Friendly receptionist & friendly nurse. Had to return the following morning for Xray opening at 9am. My 9:10 I was x-rayed and in with another two nurses. Overall I was very satisfied with the service received from dialling 111 to leaving the hospital. The place was spotless & the staff were fantastic. Thanks very much.

  6. Review titled Ward 18

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently attended ward 18 for a complete knee replacement and can find only praise for the attention I received. The surgery went well but the aftercare was something else. To a person the other patients on the ward (18) had nothing but praise for the ward staff - they were polite, helpful and nothing was any trouble to them no matter how trivial their level of care was outstanding as was their hygiene and attention to detail, they were relentless workers and always with a smile. They are to be truly commended

Upon arriving i had a very short wait to be seen. The staff who dealt bit my injury, a dog bite, were very friendly and professional. We had a goggle during what could have been a traumatic time. I was very impressed.

  9. Review titled Know it all nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Appointment with assessment nurse on ward 19 before my planned surgery. Arrived a bit early (due to transport) but seen straightaway by male assistant. He was rather quiet and no eye contact at all. Nurse in the clinic room was very knowledgeable and gave a good explanation of what to expect. She apologised if I felt my appointment was rushed because she had a busy clinic. The assessment ward was busy and a little untidy, but staff seem happy. Unfortunately my planned surgery was cancelled at the last minute.

  10. Review titled Great doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Took my 6mo in tonight and the doctor we saw was spot on. Very thorough, very helpful, talked me through everything that he thought and what to do if needed. Alot of negatives being said about nhs ATM but I can't praise him highly enough for reassuring me and giving an amazing level of care. He even gave her a little Teddy
