I am pleasantly surprised about everything to do with this hospital, it shines compared to other local hospitals. Why? I hear you ask. The hospital is easy to get to. The parking is easy, but to be fair I have been on a Sunday, when the whole place was empty and I have been there during the week for early morning, when I had a trigger finger operation and the car park was empty. The buildings are immaculate and very clean due to the workforce having pride in there establishment. The surgeons and theatre staff are very friendly, put you at ease and extremely professional. The nursing staff, well what can I say? They were very chatty, putting your mind at ease, fully focused on their roll, professional and in truth compassionate! I loved everyone I spoke to, they kept me informed about how long I had to wait, at what time roughly I would go to surgery and a little bit about the procedure. I could not ask for more. Finally, I would love to say thank you to the surgeon and his team who performed my operation and "The Gang" in Hollybank who I sincerely thought were superb. Girls, you know who you are.

Had an ultrasound scan done today and the nurses were absolutely amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions. They were so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend using Cannock chase Hospital.

Had complete knee surgery on 12/10/23. From being admitted to the operation to being discharged my care was outstanding. The doctor nurses all staff looking after myself were exceptional. Thank you so much Cannock for looking after me. You are all amazing.

Had claw toe surgery, normally done under GA, i decided LA. From start to finish, on the Holly Bank ward, staff were amazing. My surgeon was excellent, as were all the theatre team. So friendly, talkative Just like me. Im very happy indead. And hardly felt a thing. Thank you to everyone. Xx

Review titled Excellent care for my shoulder surgery

Attended Cannock Chase Hospital for surgery on my shoulder. I only had to wait six weeks. All of the staff during my stay were lovely. Excellent care. The hospital is clean and well looked after. After my operation, the nurses made sure I had plenty of tea, and I also had some food. I saw the physio team before I was discharged and also my surgeon. Thanks again for everyone’s excellent care. Please look after our NHS.

My wife had a shoulder operation at Cannock hospital, at the end of October, Hollybank ward. The team were amazing, my wife gives them more than 5 stars, they were kind, caring and she also had a good laugh too. Could not fault them, a blessing to the NHS.
