  2. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Graham Woodgate - Posted on 27 June 2023

Radiotherapy for spinal tumour, which had suddenly rendered me immobile. My problem was rapidly diagnosed with MRI in Hastings then two days later having been diagnosed began radiotherapy treatment at Eastbourne DGH. Each day of a five day program of radio therapy, I was collected from home, delivered into the dept. Treated and then returned home. What an outstanding service. All the highly trained people working so hard to give me a few more months with my nearest and dearest. Thank you so much! You are outstanding!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

….,enough. The treatment, kindness and professionalism I received during my echocardiogram at Bexhill was second to none. This was followed up yesterday, 28/7 by a pre arranged Consultant phone call. I could not have asked for better treatment. Thank you so much.

  4. Review titled exceeded all expectations

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Keith - Posted on 30 June 2023

I was in hailsham ward for my prostrate repair called a turp, everyone while I was in that ward made me feel at ease and any pain was carried out to ensure I was very comfortable and any emergencies were handled in a prompt manner. I was more worried about this operation than my open-heart avr surgery in 2017. the anaesthetist discussed a spinal nerve bloock and this was excellent, as no post op nausea at all, and by day 2, no analgesia was needed, so a huge thank you

  5. Review titled Good experience, great nurse

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Marjorie - Posted on 04 July 2023

I brought my husband to A&E following a fall on the seafront, he had 2 large flaps of skin hanging from his arm. We waited for about 90 minutes and were triaged. Then after about another 30 minutes were seen by a fantastic nurse, she cleaned the wound and explained that at 89, his skin is wafer thin, hence this type of injury is expected. The nurse very carefully placed the skin back in place, and dressed the wound. Today he went to the nurse at our gp surgery and she was also amazed at how good it was looking. I hope the nurse gets to see this, thank you very much.

by Herindoors - Posted on 04 July 2023

From the moment I entered Litlington ward the care I received was excellent. All the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot praise them highly enough for their thoughtful and attentive care. It made the wait for my op bearable. Thank you all.

  7. Review titled Good treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jonathan Dollimore - Posted on 10 June 2023

My visit was to endoscopy unit. For a colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy examination. I ticked the closest dept to this which may not have been correct. Anyway, the treatment was very good. Only a short delay and everyone I met was professional and efficient. I thank them.

  8. Review titled 5 star in 2020, 5 star in 2023

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Richard Harris - Posted on 15 May 2023

In early 2020 I had multiple radiology and I was pleased to give a very good review about them. Come 2023 my treatment required a single one which I had last week. As before, all the staff were very professional and yet maintained a very friendly, understanding and patient manner at all times. It is difficult to think how they could be better. As I put in the title, 5 star in 2020, 5 star in 2023

  9. Review titled Wonderful staff!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Bethen Blackabee - Posted on 22 May 2023

I was told by 111 to go to A&E for severe tonsillitis, and I‘m so grateful for the help I received. I waited for 3.5 hours in the waiting area, and was seen by two lovely gents to have my bloods taken and take me up to the ward for an IV of steroids and antibiotics. The matron and nurses on Michelham were so good with me, despite being understaffed and not having had a lunch break all day. I was checked on by 4 members of staff whilst on IV and given soft foods to eat after saying how I couldn’t eat due to choking. They were all amazing and I left feelings almost good as Newington comparison to the pain I was in just 7 hours prior. Really grateful for all their help!
