I have tried to ring your patient advice line several times and it just rings and rings and is never answered. It also does not go to answerphone. I need help with a medical problem and advice and the very service you tout which is supposed to help patients is not being answered. Please Help me.

My father in law has very very bad feet he also suffers from parkinsons he is a type 2 diabetic on 2 occasions in the past 2 weeks he's been sent to the hospital by a visiting paramedic due to his extreme pain this last time which was yesterday sent by the paramedic who stated that due to cellulitis he needed more antibiotics he was on a weeks course but was coming to the end he's also been waiting for about a month for pain relief to be prescribed but this hasent happened either it is hard to see a 70 year old city in pain anyway the doctors at the hospital decided that he did not need any further antibiotics and didn't offer pain relief then sent home disgusting service today he contacted his doctor who said he could not understand why the hospital didn't give more antibiotics so his doctor has now issued another course my father in law has one foot where the whole heel has fallen apart showing internal flesh and the other foot is not as bad but going the same way this makes walking extremely painful he has a nurse visit at home ever other day to change the dressings on both feet who have all the correct dressings for a very bad open foot but yesterday the hospital could not dress the feet properly as they didn't have the correct dressings as they were the A/E department the whole family are extremely worried about his health and no body seems to want to help in fact the only people that help are the visiting district nurses who send recommendations for treatment and its ignored totally

  5. Review titled Kind and compassionate staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lucy Hall - Posted on 14 March 2023

I presented to A&E today as I was having a miscarriage. Everyone I came into contact with today was kind, compassionate and made an effort to make a very traumatic experience for me a little easier. In particular, the two A&E nurses who looked after me and the staff in the EPU. I am so grateful for the care I received. Thank you so much.

  7. Review titled Lovely and caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Amber - Posted on 25 March 2023

Whilst staying on the Antenatal Ward I was treated with such care and compassion. Staff members made sure to introduce themselves as well as informing me on what to expect for the day time routine. Even when the ward was busy, all staff ensured people’s needs were attended to whilst remaining a positive attitude. I definitely chose the right hospital for my pregnancy journey.

  8. Review titled Great Maternity Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jasmine - Posted on 25 April 2023

Frimley Park had an absolute amazing maternity team all the way from my booking appt to the delivery of my son. They were extremely helpful all the way through and very accommodating to my needs (moving house midway through and completely being in a new county). The midwives work so hard to give us the best experience and they really did. Very well informed throughout my induction followed by great staff throughout a horrible labour and a lovely postnatal team, when my partner had to leave after visiting hours were over in the post natal ward- they offered to look after my little one so I could get some sleep. Thank you so much for your care throughout the 41 weeks!

  9. Review titled Hip replacement

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andrew Joslyn - Posted on 09 April 2023

A service to be proud of, from Pre op, very attentive and profession then on to the theatre. The team put me at ease and off to sleep, a fantastic job was done, I would like to thank the team for their hard work. I was kept in recovery for around 9 hours with minor complications, I believe I got the best 2 nurses for my duration. Both nurses stayed by my side the whole time. I found both on facebook and thanked them personally. I was then transferred to f5 and onto f6 all the staff were attentive I was treated with dignity and respect the whole time, what more could you ask. Finally a big thank you to the physio team, I was caught wandering with my frame, so I was fast tracked and discharged within 4 hours. So a big thank you to all involved in my care, its a pity I cannot name names.

  10. Review titled Horrendous treatment on f9 ward

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Sally Hodgkinson - Posted on 25 March 2023

My 22 year old daughter has been in hospital for 3 days in horrendous pain; a very high temperature; very low blood pressure and keeps passing out. She has been told for the last three days that she needs a scan and an ultrasound, but still waiting. She is deteriorating quite quickly and despite asking repeatedly to see a doctor, no one has been to see her. I am refusing to leave the hospital now until someone does. It is appalling
