Review titled Scoping Suite - Excellent care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Vjo - Posted on 25 July 2024
I had to attend today with my husband for his Prostate biopsy. We were treated with care and kindness. He was put at ease by everyone he came into contact with. His consultant was lovely and explained what he would be doing. Our son and I waited in a quiet area while the procedure took place. Many thanks to the lovely nurse who looked after us before and after the procedure

Had to goto A&E on Tuesday 39/07/2024. Wonderful staff in A&E especially young lady Dr (Sorry don't know her name) plus in the 3 other departments we had to visit. Lovely respectful down to earth. Staff Kept us upto date regularly. We have to visit tomorrow 02/07/2024 again for an MRI scan. We expect the same excellent service. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and empathy 🥰

Review titled Nurses just chat!
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 July 2024
The hospital set up is great. My mother was assisted by all the depts and the care was good. I was just shocked at the lack if care by the nurses. They were just sat on computers or just chatting. Why couldn’t they chat to the patients with no visitors! My mum did not have her hair washed! Her nails were filthy. I asked one nurse if my mum had had a drink all day. She said she was too busy! What are thesenurses trained in ! They never say hello! I ended up feeding one patient . Not good enough!

Review titled Apparently doctors are invisibles
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 July 2024
I have been sat in the AE from 23pm exceptional service. But after they moved me in to major C at 3 am next day . Waiting for 3 h nobody was checked me and also when I ask if a doctor will see me the nurse told me that actually already the doctor had seen me but I didn’t spoke with no one . When I start to ask where is that doctor I have been told that he can’t come back like how that comes? 🫣. I never experienced that in my life.

Review titled Great Practice Great Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Miss A Hutchinson - Posted on 05 July 2024
I attended A & E early hours of the morning, every single person I met was super professional, their mannerisms were great for the environment which helped keep my anxiety at bay. A great sense of humour & relatively short waiting times. Very efficiently run with staff, with staff that work well together, that actually listen to their patients & goes the extra mile to ensure patients understand what they are saying! I really appreciate all the hard work, you guys are a credit to the NHS, keep it up! :)

Review titled Very Caring
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Richard (bed 19 - Ward 7) - Posted on 11 June 2024
I was admitted via the Resuscitation Team in A&E to Ward 7 on Thursday 6th June....it was very busy yet all the doctors, nurses and their teams were exceptional. I was particularly grateful to the nurses and their teams on Ward 7. The professionalism was mixed with a sense of humour and compassion. I was left feeling very humbled by the experience, Thank you.

Review titled Care received
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Marilyn - Posted on 11 June 2024
I came in by ambulance and I received first class care and everyone was kind, thoughtful and my problem was resolved and I was able to return home shortly afterwards. I couldn’t fault anything from the paramedics to the nurses and the radiologist and the doctor that I saw and I didn’t have to wait too long either between each stage and I was relieved when the paramedics said they were taking me to Good Hope.

Review titled unbelievable care and treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Alex Dougan - Posted on 05 June 2024
I was unfortunate to be admitted to A&E at Good Hope Hospital on Saturday 1st June 2024. I almost collapsed in the car park when a young lady ambulance personnel came and offered me assistance. She took me to the ward and the nursing staff took over. What a bunch of caring people they are. They had my problem sorted within half an hour and took the greatest care of me. The ambulance lady even came back to see that I was ok. I cant believe the service that these ladies and the doctor provided. Everyone that I encountered was really happy and looked so passionate. Thank you so much for all the care and attention that you gave me. These people deserve to be paid a lot more than they get at the moment. Kind regards Alex
