Review titled Prompt care and expert treatment
by David281 - Posted on 10 August 2023
My GP referred me in September 2021 as my PSA was marginally raised. Two weeks later an MRI at Queens hospital Romford revealed suspicious areas within the prostate. I went on to have prostate biopsy at King George Hospital Redbridge, which confirmed early cancer. In October 2021 I underwent robot assisted radical prostatectomy at Westmorland Hospital. I was discharged the next day. Follow up still continues. I am so grateful to all units for their prompt care and expert treatment.

I had an appointment for Elm Ward today Saturday 12th August and was a bit apprehensive as it was the weekend, but i can't give enough praise for the efficiency of the Nurses and Doctors who I was seen by. I was called on time, and my problem was dealt with thoughly and careringly and i was given my results within the hour. Can't thank them enough.

Review titled Gross malpraxis from nursing staff
Rated 1 star out of 5

What kind of hospital employee does not check the dietary requirement of a pacient before feeding him whatever after waking up for general anesthesia? This one. And than how can a nurse ask someone following a vegan diet for whatever reasons if fish is ok, what kind of training do you get? Absolutely disgusting a schoking, hospital in London 2023

I was a patient at the hospital on the 4th of July 2023. I underwent neurosurgery in my spine via my neck. The neurosurgeon, who carried out my surgery was the absolute best I could have had. I would like to thank him and all his staff for the treatment I received and my after care. I am currently Recuperating at home.

Review titled Terrible just terrible
Rated 1 star out of 5

I’m writing this review, whilst I am still sitting in A&E, waiting to be seen after 3 1/2 hours waiting. I understand the NHS is in great difficulty right now, however to leave a patient who has cut her hand quite badly and has gone through 2 towels of blood. I have asked to please get a nurse to look at my hand but no, I’m still sitting here, even though four people that came in after me, have already been seen and left. I should’ve gone to Whipps Cross, at least acknowledge you. This is just terrible

Review titled Department is out of reach
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 July 2023
I had an appointment on 29th June where doctor advised some blood tests. GP mentioned that those results would not come to them and I am trying to connect with endocrinology department from last 3 days my call goes on hold for more than 25 mins and no response from them. I am looking for my results to take further steps. Phone calls are not helping and GP has nothing in hand. I am sorry, but this is very disappointing.

Review titled Poor booking system
by sagittariusyr65 - Posted on 07 June 2023
I attended for an Outpatient hysteroscopy King George Hospital, Ilford as part of a 2 week fast track programme. I was not given any prior notice of what or how this would happen and no advice re pain relief. The procedure was stopped due to the severe pain I was in. They decided that I needed to have this repeated but with a local anaesthetic. I am still trying to get this booked. When telephoning, no one answers the phone, or if they do you have been put through to the wrong department/person. They have tried calling but they don't leave a message and the number shown is not for the department needed.

Review titled Worst experience
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 June 2023
The waiting times are completely abysmal. I’ve been here with my son for 7 hours and we are still waiting to be seen just for an x-ray. It’s absolutely outrageous as I sit here whilst my poor son writhes in agony just waiting for someone to see him. . It is just absolutely ridiculous how someone has to wait this long to be seen for a serious injury. There are people here that have waited 8+ hours and still are left with no response from anyone. It is completely unfair how us and all of these people have to sit here and suffer in silence whilst the doctors scuffle around gathering their stuff together. 0/10 this place is completely ridiculous and if you need to be seen asap do not come here.
