  1. Review titled All round great care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Clive Hall - Posted on 23 April 2023

Called 111 with chest pains and they dispatched an ambulance. Paramedics and King George’s A&E staff were brilliant. Kept in overnight on Gardinia ward and the staff + cardiology team were painstakingly thorough with testing, advice and overall care. Can’t thank them enough. It’s easy to criticise the NHS but equally it’s important to recognise amazing people doing amazing things in often difficult circumstances - everyday. Thank you.

  2. Review titled Excellent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sylvia Doe - Posted on 03 May 2023

I had an MRI lunch time on Saturday 29 April 2023. I cannot speak or regard the team more highly. They were kind, respectful, pleasant and very very helpful. I am a disabled pensioner and was treated like royalty. They helped me get on the trolley which was no mean feat as I am a large lady. They made sure I was comfortable before I went into the tunnel and reassured me whilst I was in there. When I came out they let me lay on the trolley a while before helping me get up. They did not rush me at all. I wish there were more people like them. I was so very anxious and they helped me so much that it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I would like to thank them so very very much and let them know how they helped me to not be so anxious and made me feel that I wasn’t a burden to them. What a really lovely team. I wish them all the luck in the world they deserve it.

  4. Review titled Worst service- King George Hospital Redbridge

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Sayadill Hussain - Posted on 13 March 2023

King George Hospital, Redbridge The worst on the planet, no separate facility for kids in Emergency department, one doctor treating all and calling each patient with 40 minutes interval. No respect for the patient and absolutely rude. They are getting our tax money as their salary and treating us as if they are doing some charity to us. There is a limit of the audacity!! Sitting in emergency for 5 hours with a child vomiting constantly and a cyst on neck! Absolute joke

  6. Review titled Made the whole visit a lot less stressful.

    by A pez43 - Posted on 22 March 2023

Had an appointment at urology at King George's hospital Ilford and also a CT scan which was later in the day. Got a phone call to attend earlier than appointment time and the very helpful staff arranged for a CT scan right after and then the CT scan department arranged an XRay for me that my doctor wanted done right after the scan. Very helpful staff in all departments I visited today with minimal waiting. Made the whole visit a lot less stressful.

  7. Review titled Receptionist at mullmead hse e11

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 March 2023

Absolutely, disgraceful behaviour from the service of the receptionist. The receptionist was laughing, which felt like inmidation. No care of emphy Not good for the patients. Very bad attitude. She didn't even inform the person that they arrived. We had to to phone the person from our mobile to let them know we arrived. Absolutely disgusting. Appalling.

  8. Review titled Great experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Becky - Posted on 07 March 2023

I visited Gynaecology today and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Appointment was on time and the team provided a very efficient service which kept me at ease. All the staff in the hospital seemed very polite and willing to help with directions around the building. Keep up the good work!

  9. Review titled Just disappointing

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Laura - Posted on 06 January 2023

I attended the urgent care treatment department this evening after work. I called 111 during the day and they told me they would make an “appointment” for me there but may be waiting an hour or so to be seen. I waited 1.5 hr to be seen to be told nothing but my colleague will investigate my left hand further (no one asked me did heart disease run in my family in which it does) I sat down not knowing what was happening or where I was in the queue or how long more I would be waiting. I waited another two hours to go up to the reception to ask what was happening and they appeared confused as to who I was or why I didn’t have a colour card? I had no idea and I was getting quite frustrated at this point. I am diagnosed with ADHD and one of my traits is restlessness and not being able to sit still but I had waited over 3 hours at this stage. I explained to them that I had this disorder but just stared at me and said you will have to wait your turn in 5 hours. This was the first time I was made aware of the time frames. I was quite distressed and my medication had worn off at this stage so the emotional distress that this put me under was too much to bare. I left at this point after being seen by one doctor and told to wait for a colleague in which was not made clear to me. As with my condition and I’m sure there are other neuro divergent patients in this centre we would like to know what is happening and how many hours we would have to wait approx as I know the nhs is overrun as are a lot public services which are underfunded in which I too work in. A bit of compassion would go a long way at this centre which the staff clearly don’t have.

  10. Review titled Quality of care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Terry West - Posted on 23 January 2023

After being admitted to A & E on Thursday 19/1/23 and then being transferred to Medical Referral Unit, my wife and I were well looked after by all members of staff. Please pass on our thanks to all concerned. The food was excellent and we had regular visits from the tea trolley. The treatment we received was excellent.
