  1. Review titled Painful ear

by Kingywingy - Posted on 24 February 2023

Had terrible pushing pressure in my right ear ..I thought it was infection however my doctor sent me to triage ward 9 where they cleared the right ear though it was extremely painful the lady in blue scrubs was extremely thorough. Even had the doctor to come and put a camera up my nose to check internally .. however after several hours later I’m now pain free So swift care and knowledge saved me from further pain SO A HUGE THANK YOU

  2. Review titled Hearing services appointment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 February 2023

I attended the hearikg services department on Sunday February 19th for a hearing test and review of my hear aids. The audiologist was very pleasant and helpful. I didn't feel rushed and he listened to my concerns and answered my questions and explained things. I was seen within 7 minutes of my appointment time. Very satisfied with the appointment.

  3. Review titled Rude and unapproachable

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 February 2023

I came with my mum as she was discharged from hospital and she complained of pain and similar symptoms of her original infection. The staff were not compassionate and i found them to be unapproachable when asking for advice, also i observed them behaving like this towards others. We were dismissed from the department and made to feel like my mothers health problems were obsolete and not important. NHS needs to train staff who actually listen to people’s needs and not dismiss them as people would not sit in a waiting area for 10 hours if they did not have a problem needing immediate attention.

  4. Review titled No Answer

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have been trying to reach Gynaecology at the LRI (0116 2586747) as per referral letter from my GP as I have not heard from them since my referral, however after 63 attempts there is still no-one answering the phone and no option to leave a message to be called back, this is really annoying and dis-heartening

  5. Review titled Smoking

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 January 2023

Absolutely disgusting that smoking was allowed outside of the entrance of the maternity building! I witnessed at least 4 people of 3 that were pregnant or had recently given birth smoking in the space of 10 mins whilst waiting to pick up my son who's wife had given birth. Also only allowing 1 person at a time at this special time to visit is awful yet families with 4 children could stay around the bed. At least provide somewhere and something to sit on if you insist on carrying on this ridiculous situation.

  9. Review titled Awful experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Lamia - Posted on 09 December 2022

We arrived at 5.30pm on Thursday was seen within 2 hours by the nurse and having my bloods done. The nurses were amazing. However, we were told blood results would be 45 mins. We were not seen by a Dr untill 915am Friday morning. They kept telling me it would be a couple of hours which was clearly a lie. I think communication between staff and patient needs to improve drastically. The hole time I waited to see a doctor approx 13 for my blood results, they then turned round and said I had an infection but we're giving you no antibiotics! So why someone couldn't have come and told me this 12 hours ago is beyond belief

  10. Review titled speedy and through treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by william john little - Posted on 30 December 2022

I dropped my elderly father off at a and e at 7.30am on Wednesday 28th December. He had a very bad chest infection - his treatment was excellent and he was sent home around 12.00 having had an xray, blood test, and heart monitored. He was given stronger antibiotics to take away. All in all an excellent level of service that left him reassured. Please pass on our thanks.
