Every member of the team dealing with my preoperation, operation and after care were efficient, reassuring and caring. They explained everything clearly and provided a lot of useful information. The hospital was lovely and clean, and I barely heard any noise from the renovations and expansion work being undertaken around the hospital. Overall, an excellent service.

I have had a truly great day today as a day case. From being checked in, preoperative processes, theatre staff, post op care staff , all superb, really friendly and patient. Every step was explained, could see how well they were working as a team. My personal treatment was Brilliant, who said the NHS is broke...long may it live. A huge thank you.

Just today had colonoscopy and osophagoscopy, at the treatment centre, and although i was very nervous , and uneasy , the treatment i received as soon as through door was superb, especially in theatre both the specialist and nurses constantly reassuring me , and now it looks like will have, to have Another visit in near future, and although not looking forward to it , confident in receiving excellent care well done to all of you .

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff on ward 5. They all deserve medals and a massive pay rise. I have never met such a lovely and dedicated bunch of people. My stay there was made so comfortable. They all act in a very professional way. I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me. Also the food was fantastic. Hi, today we were sent to Leighton hospital A and E and waited 6.5 hours to be seen only to.leave not knowing why my husband had severe headaches and neck pain. Your waiting times are appaling and must be improved.

Dear Linda, Thank you for your comment. As an organisation we are continually looking for ways to reduce delays for patients. Unfortunately the department was experiencing high demand and patients are seen in order of clinical acuity following triage assessment. I would just like to state in writing how impressed I was with the care , professionalism and efficiency that I experienced yesterday. I saw three different nurses that tested my eyes in different ways. I then moved on to the consultant. This was all completed in less than an hour. There were many people waiting to be seen but it all seemed to flow seamlessly. All the staff seemed happy and knew what they were doing. Congratulations to you all.

Had to have a biopsy performed following an initial consultation. Not only was this arranged quickly and efficiently, the actual procedure was done on time and with great supporting information and care from the two staff I saw. Great work from our NHS !!

In my short time at the hospital I was taken care of by a range of people from many different specialties. I received the best possible care from the nurses. They were kind, gentle and attentive and made sure I had what I needed. When I had my surgery, the surgeons were brilliant in skill and caring in nature. Overall, I was given the care I needed and more. Truly amazing.

I had minor surgery at the Treatment Centre and the care and attention I received was fantastic both before and after the procedure. In particular the team in recovery were outstanding looking after me (and others). Nothing was any trouble and they were all attentive throughout.
