    I had to attend A&E today after a fall. I was attended to extremely quickly and had an x ray and was told I had a dislocated shoulder. I was in excruciating pain up until my dislocation to my right shoulder was put back into place. I was informed of the fabulous lady’s name who massaged around my dislocation prior to putting it back into place and I have forgotten her name (very sorry) this lady was amazing and very caring. Thank you to everyone for putting me back together

    From the ambulance, A&E and xray and scan staff, I was met with kindness and compassion. In particular the trainee practitioner who helped me through the trauma I had experienced with professionalism and kindness

    I was referred by my GP as I have been experiencing discomfort in the area where I had breast cancer ten years ago. All the staff at Macclesfield hospital, in the breast care department, were professional, reassuring and personable. I feel confident that I receive the best possible care in this setting.

    Went to A&E with my daughter who had a broke her foot. Unbelievably, the tirage nurse did not ask to see it. As a result , she waited longer in A&E than she would have done if she had looked at it, because she would have suspected a break and got seen quicker, which is what happened with other people. Thankfully the other staff were not like her, they were caring and compassionate. We do not mind the wait so much, it is the unprofessional and rude manner of the nurse.

    I was referred by my GP on a 2 week wait after finding 3 lumps . Had my appointment within the week. All the staff on the unit were absolutely marvellous and I was dealt with in a friendly, professional and caring manner . When you are at your most vulnerable this means so much and I can’t thank them enough for making me feel so at ease. I was one of the lucky ones today . To have various procedures and receive your results on the same day is incredible. What a wonderful service we have with the NHS . Thank you again to all the dedicated staff and volunteers at Macclesfield Hospital.

    GP requested an urgent x ray appointment on 19.June. yesterday, no text or phone message. received by me. from radiology. Today, 21st June, I phoned.421000 and 661370. Noone picked up the phone all day

    I had an MRI scan on the 25 June, since then there has been no contact from the hospital regarding the results. In the last couple of weeks I have called the depart directly on at least 4 occasions leaving messages regarding this and as yet I have not received a reply. I find the experience extremely frustrating and I'm left worried about the results of the scan.

    My husband spent two days in A&E and then one month in the Cardiology ward. Both departments showed great kindness, patience and skill throughout his stay and also took time to explain a quite complicated medical condition to us both. Facilities on the ward could have been better but the important things were top notch.

    I attended A and E with severe abdominal pains. The care I received from arriving at the desk until leaving four days leeter was outstanding. I was scared and in pain yet I remained calm throughout and I know that was due to the level of care I received. A and E was incredibly busy yet staff were calm and patient and I felt in safe hands. Every person I met was thoughtful and kind and respected my dignity. I did have to have surgery to remove my burst appendix. Again the level of care was amazing. I was on ward one for the duration of my stay. All the staff were attentive and kind. I felt so well looked after. My time in hospital gave me some insight into the demands on hospital staff and has left me in complete awe of the work they do. Thank you for taking such good care of me.
