Review titled Amazing care at urgent care centre

I attend the urgent care centre following being bitten by a dog on Sunday evening. Checking in was extremely straight forward. The area was extremely clean and well organised also. I saw seen extremely quickly considering the amount of people who were waiting. I was firstly seen by a nurse (I did not get her name) who was extremely efficient and professional. She was reassuring, showed a great sense of humour and made me feel almost immediately at ease when she called me in to be seen. Following this, I was then seen by another professional (unfortunately did not get his name either), who again was extremely efficient and friendly. All the members of staff I had contact with were professional, kind and I walked away feeling that they genuinely cared. I was offered triage and treatment extremely quickly and with such compassion and professionalism. I am extremely grateful for this level of care I received and will never forget this positive experience. Thank you to the urgent care night team - you are doing an amazing job.

Paramedic bought me here from dudley as what i can only describe as trying to waste the last hour of shift as there were closer hospitals to my home location. Arrived at hospital with severe chest pain with cardiac history. Was left in waiting room for 1.5 hours before even been seen by HCA. When bloods and ecg were taken it was a further 2.5 hours before anyone saw me again, a second set of bloods were taken and again was left for another 2.5 hours before someone contacted me by telephone to inform me of my results. Such poor service for cardiac issues. Even if I were on deaths door I wouldn't come here again

Took my child to a&e as he was showing signs of ear infections he's prone to them last time he had one he deteriorated quick so we took him to a&e as it was a weekend, the pediatric a&e refused to see him, the receptionist was rude said he's a adult in here he will wait like a adult he's 8 autistic has severe anxiety can't handle crowded places the adults a&e was packed full of adults no other other children he was refused access to the pediatric a&e told he was a adult in here so will wait as he's not allowed in the pediatric a&e, also no seats in the adult a&e so he would have to stand up, the waiting hours we were told would be 3-6 hours possibly longer.

My mum was taken by ambulance to the Manor, after a short examination in A&E she was moved to location 233 (Ambulatory Care). The team here can only be described as brilliant! Mum was checked over, given a sandwich and a bottle of water. An X-Ray was promptly requested and she was taken by wheelchair for it to be done. Mum needed to return to the same section today and again the team were very caring and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone in the ambulatory care team needs to be applauded for their dedication, professionalism and excellent patient care. Mum is 84 and has had many trips to hospital for things but this team really impressed us both. Thank you each and everyone of you on duty today.

My review is about a phone call my husband had. Been waiting on an appointment for a scan, as my husband found a lump in abdominal area, been waiting weeks, had a phone call asking if he could come for scan tomorrow, expecting him to drop everything at work, as if his boss would give him time off at short notice (call 18.30pm) then oh can fit you in July, oh no I can't fully booked. I'm sorry it's not good enough, my husband still waiting on scan for lump

Neurology arranged for me to have ct scan in Cannock in mid 2022...spent a fair amout of train and taxi money on travel and took day off work. .. it took about 9 months to get results - I was told results could only be given when I saw the consultant himself! A face to face meeting was arranged for a short while ago, a reminder message was sent to me, also telling me that missed appts cost the NHS money! I confirmed I would attend, and a few days before it was arranged for - it was cancelled, because of the junior doctor strike, which was known about for some time! Another appt was set, for the end of June! I have now received another letter cancelling this appt as as well, for another in January 2024, no reason given, but again reminding me that missed appts cost the NHS money! Well, all I can say is that you should never offer a service that you can't deliver. If this new appt ever actually happens, then I will make my mind up on the day in question whether to go, and also whether to bother letting anyone know, should I decide not to. Quite frankley, NHS Is now a sham and should be replaced with a new independent setup, staffed by completely different personnel. Based on this and other incompetence and bad attitude caused experiences I have had to endure recently, you deserve all the bad press you get.

I attendid the Imagining Department for injections in the Ankle. I felt immediate relief from pain, and to my surprise the pain in my lower back was more manageably. Thank you to Staff for making my appointment stressless. You are all extremely kind, and work hard.

Took my elderly father the new emergency treatment center was fantastic clean and airey.The care from the staff, nurses and doctors was caring professional and efficient lovely speedy visit Thankyou

My experience regarding attending the dermatology department, from entering the hospital, reception staff, nurses, doctors , photography department, after care and follow up procedure was excellent, five star rating.

My wife had to come to check a suspected broken wrist. I was so impressed by the extremely helpful front desk staff followed with the excellent doctors. I dread A & E usually due to past long waits, however in this occasion, we were seen, x-rayed and discharged in 1 hour. This is phenomenal. Whatever you are doing here, keep doing it. Amazing experience
