    Wonderful care and attention given from all staff! No question or request unanswered. Thank you all very much, from the nursing staff, anaesthetist, technicians and consultants. Struggled with the order of these wonderful people which tells of a great team!

  2. Review titled First class treatment

    On 9 February I was admitted with a heart attack, I underwent an emergency procedure to have 2 stents fitted. The treatment I received was superb, I have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses and all of the staff on ward b14. Please convey my sincere thanks to everyone.

  3. Review titled Extremely rude staff

    Unfortunately I have to use the Deansley Centre as I have cancer. The oncologist is fabulous but the reception staff are awful and extremely rude! They treat you like you have a wart on your finger not cancer! They never answer the phones and very often they pick it up and put it back down again to cut you off! If I could change hospital I would as the treatment of the reception staff just adds to the anxiety of having cancer as you never know what mood they are in!!

    I visited my aunt on C39 and I was amazed at the care the staff showed. I can't tell you how impressed I was. It really is reassuring to know that the patients are treated so well. Thank you for all your help and kindness.

    I am a very elderley frail person and after experiencing the worst stomach pains I was taken by ambulance to Newcross Hospital and "treated" in the ambulance receiving centre (couldnt have any contact with my daughter and son in law who were left sitting in a&e). I arrived around 5.00pm. They gave me painkillers and did blood tests and they did say they may do an xray. But at midnight (no xray and no painkillers) they arranged my transport home. During the hours I was there, I didn't even get a drink of water, even after asking quite a few times. The next day my daughter came to visit me and saw the state I was. She took me to Russell's Hall hospital and after having a scan i was diagnosed with acute inflammation of the gall bladder which led to me being admitted and having an urgent operation to remove it. Russells Hall have been very good and very caring shame the same couldn't be said about Newcross.

    The empathy, energy and work rate shown to my family on the birth of our daughter was exemplary. Fantastic job by all doctors, midwifes and nurses in practice.

    This was my first operation and the care given from all the staff was brilliant. The operation went smoothly and was fully reassured by all doctors, nurses and the care team.

    The staff on this department were truly amazing. They went above and beyond on the care of my relative. They showed compassion, care,respect and humility whilst dealing with not only the patient but relatives as well. The small things they did made all the difference to our experience and whilst the outcome was not what we wanted it eased our pain and heartbreak. Please thank all the staff what is for them a difficult time as well.

    Taken to A & E after a fall. It was fortunately fairly quiet so I was treated quickly by pleasant staff who kept me informed. Follow up appointments with maxilla/facial staff were similarly quick, efficient and friendly. I cannot fault the care I have received.

    I had an eye stent and Cataract surgery performed yesterday at the Mary Jones Ward outpatients department . On arrival I was greeted with a kind caring reception and Nursing Team. Nothing was too much trouble .My surroundings were clean and comfortable. My consultant was also extremely attentive and professional talking to me in a calm clear manner putting me a rest. I like to thank all the team for looking after me so well .
