  1. Review titled A remarkable experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Neil Franklin - Posted on 07 February 2024

Admitted for eye lid surgery. A bit worried with the intrusion on a very sensitive part of the body but found the whole experience amazing. Conscious through out the delicate procedure and truly appreciative of the skill and care taken. The lead gentleman was also instructing a trainee verbally while performing the operation and also guiding her through certain stages to give her hands on experience. May sound a little daunting to some, but to me it made me feel with their confidence that I was in the best possible care. Definitely on a par with my knee replacement operation at Hinchingbrook Hospital when I was conscious through out. Thank you North West Anglia NHS.

Excellent care received for my boy. All staff and nurses were very caring, understanding and very efficient. They also bought us some food and a drink. Thank you very much for everything! Well done! You are Little Angels!

The service received was first rate. Thorough, caring, and efficient with minimal waiting times despite being very busy. I felt the service surpassed what I have had as a privately funded patient elsewhere.

  4. Review titled Patronizing

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Some of the medical staff I have experienced whilst attending the hospital have demonstrated patronizing attitudes. They do not listen to the patient, they think they know best. Some after having completed a 3year degree still do not fully appreciate the issue rather tend to consider it to be in ones head. This is extremely frustrating as a patient. When one goes to the PALS service to complain all there answer is you need to go online and complete the form. This is my experience goes no where. Many of the nursing staff are kind and helpful

  5. Review titled Excellent Service

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was seen by the Speech Therapy department due to my voice being effected after a stint in another hospital the previous year. The therapist that I was seen by explained what the problem was and the potential ways that it can be improved and fixed. I was referred to the consultant who performed an examination and further explanations which I found to be very useful as it was described in a way that it was easy to understand using visual model of the throat & voice box. Both the speech Therapist and consultant made me feel very comfortable to go ahead with the procedure. The procedure was conducted in a very timely manner and was out of the hospital on the same day. I now have a voice again and am very pleased with the experience

Very clean, friendly staff, fairly punctual. But, why were all the bike shess locked?!! While visiting, I had to leave my bike optomistically locked to a pole, feet from several perfectly covered security huts; oh, the irony! Really disappointing and baffling.

Accident was on october .Thiss is very dissapointing because his workplace is pushim him go back to work.Doctor GP doesnt recomend untill he sees doctor because the finger isnt moving. So how long we will have to wait?He has to provide for famaly as well. Its not fuuny from our point of view. We are even ready to pay for scan but thanks to lady which i have several times contacted we havent even recived information how much it will cost.Because she isnt alowed to give secretary number. If he will need to make operation on hand and after a year or two? This isnt funny anymore. We even don't know what to do!!!

  10. Review titled Excellent care

I was seen by rw advanced Practitioner in the Urgent Care centre. She was highly professional and receptive to my knee problem. She demonstrated high level of competence and took my blood and referred me to orthopaedic for further assessment and treatment. She took me to a waiting area after her consultation and offered me a cup of tea and biscuit whilst I wait for my blood result. She wished me good luck and I thought this was very person centred. Despite the busy department nurse rw took her time and I felt she deserves a recognition and great work she is doing.
