  1. Review titled disgusted and appalled

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 April 2023

Doctor treated me with no respect, spoke to me like I was an imbecile and too old to comprehend what he was telling me.Did not read the notes the nurse had prepared and then accused me of not telling him information (which was in the notes). Wrote a list of medications on a tissue- is the NHS so short of money it cannot afford a sheet of paper!! On a positive note, the nurse who did the initial interview/tests was extremely good, very professional and pleasant. Would give her 10/10

  4. Review titled Ward 15 amazing care and support given to my dad

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarah Shuttleworth - Posted on 12 April 2023

My dad had to stay in longer than expected after a surgical treatment. The staff were brilliant, rang us with updates and looked after him so well. Always friendly and had time to talk, even though it was a busy ward. The human touch was definitely there.

  5. Review titled Efficient

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Colin - Posted on 14 April 2023

I attended A&E after fracturing 3 bones in my foot. The time from arriving at A&E to leaving was quick in my opinion. The staff were all courteous, helpful and showed empathy. I was given clear diagnosis, treatment, and follow up instructions. When I left the A&E I felt assured I would soon make a full recovery under the care and guidance of the hospital’s care. Many thanks.

  8. Review titled Diabolical care

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 February 2023

Some of the navy blues in this department need to consider a change of professional. Attitude, conduct, patient safety and experience the worst ive ever seen it. Will be making referrals regarding fitness to practice. Health care support workers are excellent- kund caring and compassionate, though how they can be considered a 'support' given that they are leading the way in patient care, is beyond me.

  10. Review titled Long wait times

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 January 2023

I was in A&E due to a few emergency issues I suffered including my heart. The first 2 times I was seen within the first hour but then it was just a check every 2 hours. 11 hours wait time and the number in A&E kept going up with hardly anyone being seen from the walk in side. I was only waiting to see the doctor but that didn't seem to be happening for anyone waiting. The chairs are not comfortable for a wait that long and when you have to attend alone due to the hosptial not allowing anyone with you then it is hard to go toilet.
