    The foot clinic is wonderful in the hospital but my experience at the clinic Chadwell was awful, I sat in the wrong place and could have missed my time. The staff were rude in the clinic, the queens staff were nice.

    Was standing outside having a cigarette while I have been waiting for my brother’s finger to be sewed up and was left waiting for 4 hours before anyone even came to see him, standing out there and all of a sudden I’ve seen one on a table another on the subway counter and the food bar had 5 j running back and forth with food absolutely disgusting

    Seen promptly and everything that was going to happen was well explained in a language I understood, as it was happening. The surgeon and staff were all very pleasant and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was very impressed with the whole experience. Thanks.

    The response to my emergency was impeccable and I benefited greatly from the professional skill and attitude of the NHS, all the way through from Paramedic/Ambulance staff, initial reception at Queens, speedy and efficient blood testing, ECG’s etc. to the obviously highly professional Consultants. In spite of the long wait due to strike action, the staff covered the shortfall in as timely a manner possible, given that the amount of pressure on them must have been much greater in the circumstances. Their tireless pursuit in the name of this efficiency should be recognised and rewarded. I cannot possibly be in the minority with this experience as I could see the staff working relentlessly all around the departments in spite of the added pressure. Well done to all the A&E staff at Queens - I was really impressed.

    I was on Sahara B and I was blown away by how lovely every member of staff were. I’ve been in hospital loads over the years and this team are by far the best. However, I must mention a few concerns. I noticed that the bed ridden weren’t given a wash in the couple of days that I was there. This is something that I’ve noticed often over the years at Queens, so not just this ward. I’d fasted for almost 24hrs before my surgery as I went down much later than planned. As I woke up in the ward, I was delighted to be offered tea and food (I chose a sandwich). I then realised that it was actually dinner time and just a coincidence. Would I have been offered food otherwise? I don’t think so. Later that night I was gasping for a drink and I couldn’t face water or even move to lift the jug. I’d had spinal surgery, so quite major. When the nurse checked on me for obs, I asked if it would be ok to have a cup of tea when they had a spare moment. There was an awkward moment as though it wasn’t her job (quite right) but I was dehydrated and knew I wouldn’t keep water down. I said I was happy to go and buy one from the machine but she made me one. The biggest concern is that neither my surgeon or any other doctor came to tell me what they did in surgery and how it went. I only saw a doctor briefly on the day of going home and his job was solely to discharge me. It was all very chaotic and he didn’t discuss my surgery. I’ve never in my life had any surgery where a doctor hasn’t come round and given a run down of what they did in surgery. The nurses didn’t even know if my stitches were dissolvable or whether I had to come back. I’ve assumed they’ve dissolved as my follow up appointment with the surgeon isn’t until May. I hate ending this on a negative because they were great otherwise.

    Rushed into Queen's hospital via blue lighted ambulance. Taken to priority Resus department on the night of Jan 10th 2024.The Dr on duty was fabulous and can't thank him enough for making us all feel so comfortable and getting things done in such a speedy way. He put our minds at ease instantly and could see how professional, knowledgeable and caring he is. He's an asset to your team and this has changed my whole view of queens a&e department. Also to add all the nurses on duty was great and the ambulance crew that attended was also a credit to the NHS. Thank you so much for everything

    Mum had a fall and was in A@E for 10 hours in total. All staff were amazingly kind ans helpful. One consultant was absolutely fantastic and a doctor who was in her second year again were amazing kept me informed all though from initial assessment to CT scan to eventual discharge. Thank you all for your immense kindness.

    Queens Hospital, where do I even begin? This place takes the cake for being one of the worst medical facilities I've ever set foot in. I get referred for an emergency gynecological issue, and what do I encounter? A chaotic service. First off, I endure a mind-boggling 7-hour wait after handing in my samples. Just when I think it can't get worse, around midnight, zhey told, no doctors available. Brace yourself, they say, for another 6-hour wait. The lack of communication and empathy during this ordeal is beyond belief. I try talking to the nurse, but she's acting busy with nothing to do, leaving me feeling like my concerns are falling on deaf ears. Thinking the next day might bring some relief, I return, only to be met with utter disarray at the reception. And here's the kicker – they want me to start the whole process from square one. Are they kidding? It's like they have no clue about the urgency of my situation, showcasing a level of disorganization that's frankly alarming. Fast forward through another agonizing 8-hour wait to finally see a doctor. The conditions inside the hospital are nothing short of a joke. Seating? Forget about it. A whopping 75% of us are left standing. It's not just uncomfortable; it's a clear sign that this place can't handle the number of patients it's dealing with. To sum it up, my experience at Queens Hospital was beyond dissatisfying. The excruciating wait times, indifferent staff, and overall chaos make it crystal clear – this place needs a serious makeover. My hope is that someone somewhere takes note of this feedback and turns things around, so others don't have to endure what I went through.
