    I arrived at A&E at about 8am & was immediately sent to Minor Injuries after triage. Seen promptly by two nurses & a doctor I subsequently had an X-ray. It was all rather hectic in there but after a cycling accident I left about 2 hours later patched up & reassured. There was hardly a moment when I was not in the company of at least one of the team during the period I was there. Despite the circumstances I had found myself in it was a pleasure to have been there & treated with such professionalism & kindness.

    I would like to thank all the staff in the urology department who supported me during surgery and pre and post treatment. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond in caring for me as a patient.

    I didn’t have to wait too long for my angioplasty surgery at the Berks Hospital as a day patient. Everything went faultless with all the staff being polite, friendly, professional & first class. Thank you to you all.

    Took a friend into Day Surgery Unit. All the staff are lovely but you are given a bed and it doesn’t even have a sheet on it, could not believe my eyes, you have to lie on a bare mattress. This is 2024 come on RBH pull your socks up you are way behind other hospitals, shame on you!

    I brought my 86 year old father who lives with dementia in for planned abdominal surgery today and the service was outstanding. From the anaesthetist who careful explained his recommendations to the doctor who did the same with hers and the excellent nurses and health care assistants and ports the surgery went so smoothly. All staff treated Dad with utmost respect and care and minimised any confusion by ensuring the operation was first on the list to ensure he could get home as promptly and comfortably as possible. We are very appreciative.

    Having just got back from the minor injuries unit, I just wanted to commend the staff I saw for the fantastic work they do under intense pressure. They were completely un phased by it and did a brilliant job. Gave me loads of support and great advice.

    We just visited Family on Kennet ward after admittance through A&E and heard such great feedback like 'o the food is beautiful' and all the nurses (and assistants) are wonderful! They help me do this and go with me to do that. It makes such a difference to hear such amazing praise. Thank you so much for all you are doing.

    Going into this procedure I was quite nervous but the staff made me feel completely at ease, thoroughly explaining the process to me and making sure I was comfortable throughout. For a procedure that isn’t comfortable at all I had a pretty stress free experience.

    I Just want to thank this wonderful team for their expertise and kindness. The nursing staff, CT scan team and Doctors are all marvellous. Special thanks to the wonderful doctor who explained my CT scan report and answered all my questions. This is so reassuring and eases any further stress or anxiety. He even sorted my problem and sent it to our GP so we could get a follow up quickly. I am extremely grateful to every member of NHS staff I met or spoke to on the phone for their patience and kindness.
