I was transferred from County Hospital Stafford for treatment for a Brain Malformation. All staff I encountered were caring pleasant and friendly. They made a very stressful and upsetting time more tolerable by dealing with me quickly and efficiently. I can’t thank staff enough. Thank you

Review titled Appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5

My husband was given an appointment in July we attended put his information into the machine was told to go to a clinic and his number would be called…arrived at the clinic to find no doctor or nurse returned to reception to be told there was no clinic that evening even though we had confirmation on us…returned home rang the secretary the following morning to be told that it should have been a phone appointment not a face to face they couldn’t apologise enough which is fair enough we can all make mistakes…we then got a phone call the following day with an oncologist who did the review on the phone and was told he would be having another appointment in six weeks we are five weeks on no appointment have been ringing leaving messages because his cancer medication is about to run out no one has got back, this really isn’t good enough. If we don’t hear anything now we will have to go down the pals route as if we haven’t got enough stress.

by chloe law - Posted on 04 July 2023
I’ve had a history of symptoms which seemed to be endometriosis. I’ve seen plenty of doctors and none of them even compared to the particular dr that i saw today! i had never felt so safe and comfortable from the second i walked in to the second i left! this doctor is a credit to your hospital! i was made aware of every little detail and they made sure i was understanding of it all! not only that but they were able to make a good laugh and a joke when necessary! extremely happy with todays visit!! thank you

Review titled Excellent care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Corrine - Posted on 03 July 2023
My mum was taken to A&E yesterday. The staff are wonderful - so supportive and with the right level of humour to lighten an otherwise fraught time. Thankfully it was nothing sinister and she's now in the right place for the treatment she needs to get her home!

Review titled Absolutely Awful
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 26 July 2023
I was sent by an OOH doctor to A&E no referral was sent ,the triage ordered the wrong blood tests , I waited 5 hours and was told it would be another 8 hours to see a doctor, I saw the nurse shouting at patients who were complaining, but if you dared to say anything like I did which was ' ,You have taken the wrong blood tests ' .I was told I was being passive aggressive!!! I was talked into taking another blood test, but I never got the result because the gas machine was broken . A nurse barged into my cubicle twice , he interrupted my blood test, the health worker had to loosen my tornika whilst he moaned about his shifts and that there were no doctors in resuscitation, Still not had the blood test results? I felt safer at home, not a good experience

Review titled Many thanks
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Susan Barr - Posted on 16 June 2023
I had an appointment early on Friday 9 June 2023 for the removal of my ovaries and cysts etc. Everything was carried out with great professionalism by all concerned …I would like to thank all the staff involved for their care and cheerfulness during the few days I spent in hospital. I would have liked the opportunity to thank personally the surgeon who carried out the procedure…although I understand pressure of work makes this difficult. Many thanks for the comparative speed of getting an appointment in these difficult times. I hope the government recognises the good work done by all doctors and remunerates you all better.
