  1. Review titled Midwife-led birthing - Great experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Karina Backes - Posted on 12 July 2024

I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care provided by the midwives during the birth of my son on Father’s Day. From start to finish, their expertise, compassion, and support made the experience truly special. The lead midwife's knowledge and calm attitude ensured that everything went smoothly. She was attentive, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Her ability to guide and support us through each stage of labor was invaluable. Her colleague was equally outstanding, bringing a perfect blend of warmth and professionalism. Together, they created a nurturing environment that made the labor as comfortable and positive as possible. We couldn't have asked for better support and are forever thankful for their outstanding care.

  2. Review titled Haslemere Minor Injuries Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Astrid - Posted on 01 July 2024

Yesterday I attended this Minor Injuries Unit with an eye issue. I was most impressed with the lady at reception who was welcoming and caring as well as by the lady who examined my eye, explained findings and treatment going forward. I would recommend this Unit to anyone with minor injuries and wish there were more such units around the country so only the serious cases go to the larger hospitals' A&E departments. Big thank you to the staff who took care of me yesterday.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 June 2024

My bf was admitted to a and e via his gp. He was seen very quickly and had a multiple of tests done. He was transfered to the cardiology ward where he continues to get great care. The NHS is fantastic.

  4. Review titled Outstanding treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Dan Bailey - Posted on 12 June 2024

I had an endoscopy yesterday afternoon. I could not have been more impressed with the quality and friendliness of the 9 or so staff who were involved in my time at the department, from reception to discharge. They were also reassuring, efficient and clear. The facilities were also a very high standard, clean, comfortable and well laid out. All in all, top drawer, and a credit to the hospital and the NHS.

  6. Review titled Above and beyond care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Charlotte Mortiboys - Posted on 25 June 2024

I attended St Catherine’s, delivery suite and Shere ward for the birth of my beautiful daughter - first child! And the care from some of the midwives that were involved in my care, they really went above and beyond during our time in hospital. Throughout what is quite a nerve wracking time of being induced and giving birth, I cannot have wished for better care from them all.

  7. Review titled Great Food

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Michelle Francis - Posted on 27 June 2024

I have 2 admissions in 3 months and was admitted and moved around several wards. The food was superb. Since changing the way inpatient food is done it has improved. I love the picture menus and choosing at the time not a day in advance. My favourites are the chicken tikka masala and the roast chicken dinner. I had both of these whilst in. My only issue is the temperature of it when it reaches you. When on AMU the food is hot but on Guildford and Millbridge wards it is barely warm. I think you need to find a way to keep the food hotter on transportation to other wards. Other than that it was great and plenty of food options and big portions. I miss the roast chicken dinner and wish I could have it at home.

  8. Review titled Not impressed

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 July 2024

I have recently had spinal stenosis at another hospital in London. My wound was leaking badly and 111 sent an ambulance to help. As I had had cauda equina, they felt it was important for me to be seen in a&e. I waited around 5 hours to get through triage and to see a doctor from orthopedics. Some bloods were taken, The doctor spent about 10 secs looking at the wound, he did not change the dressing which was sodden and the doc said the bloods will take 30 mins. Bloods were sent off and I returned to main reception waiting area (for someone with autism, this was a massive challenge and overwhelming, also I was alone). 2 hours late I asked the nurse to chase up what was going on. The message from the doctor via the nurse was, ‘your obs are ok, your bloods are ok so you can go home’. I was given no dressings, no wound advice. Nothing.

  9. Review titled Brilliant service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mike - Posted on 09 June 2024

We were given an appointment for my son after calling 111 at 6pm. They booked us an appointment at Royal Surrey’s out of hours GP for 820pm the same night. We were seen right on time, the doctor was warm, friendly and knowledgeable, getting my son on side and gave us a prescription. Great service and staff - thank you.

  10. Review titled Wonderful, caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 June 2024

Yesterday I accompanied by mother who attended a short notice CT scan at St Luke’s followed by a cystoscopy in the Urology Centre. Without exception, every member of staff we encountered both in these 2 buildings, and indeed the main reception staff in Building B, and even the barista in the Costa Coffee were so helpful, friendly and caring. They certainly made what was a very worrying time for my mother so much more bearable. I’m afraid we didn’t get any names to give personal feedback to, but we would be grateful if you could pass on our comments to these 2 departments. Thank you.
