    The Care & attention my mother has received from both these wards has been absolutely super. I cannot thank both these wards enough for mums total MOT and medication readjustment. Wards are kept clean and tidy, the staff are happy & caring, also a thumbs up for the paramedics, the A&E Major Ward and the lovely porters. Thank you.

    Directed by 111 to use Out of Hours GP on Monday, 1st May. From his assessment immediately admitted to Emergency. . Experiencing excruciating pain and significant swelling. An afternoon/evening of Tests and X-rays culminated in some IV treatment which allowed me home next morning. Massive improvement in my condition is all due to the brilliant A&E Staff..They were all wonderful. Cannot praise them enough, they’ve restored an aspect of my daily life I thought I’d lost. Follow-up visit Friday gave me instructions to convey to GP for ongoing treatment and prevention. Unfortunately my GP practice answer was “ can’t get you appointment, you could try again next week. Perhaps I should phone 111 again…

    My abdomen ultra sound appointment was very good. I was seen promptly, put at ease by both ladies in the Radiology Department. Everything was explained clearly, I did not feel rushed and was given an opportunity to ask questions. Great team from Receptionist, Nurse and Radiographer. Big thank you.

    I was referred to A&E by the 111 service with suspected DVT yesterday. Arrived at just before midday, was seen practically straightaway by Triage & from then on there was hardly any waiting to be seen by subsequent staff. They were all extremely lovely kind people that did their utmost to make me feel at ease. Even though the Doctor couldn't get me fitted in for a scan (I have to return Tuesday) he gave me medication to see me through till then. What wonderful caring staff you have in your A&E dept.

    I was a patient having a knee arthroscopy yesterday through surgical day stay unit. Starting from the reception, each and every staff member were polite, very helpful and professional in their interactions. I was extremely impressed with the care and attention that I received yesterday. I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kindness.

    My badly fractured wrist needed surgery the week doctors were on strike. Nevertheless, a surgeon performed the operation on the Friday. My treatment from start to finish in the Day Centre can only be described as excellent. From the receptionists at 7am to the surgeons, the nursing staff and the anaesthetists, everyone was so professional, helpful and kind. Thank you very much!

    Attended the Eye clinic with my daughter for her appointment. Although the department was clearly busy, all the staff, from the receptionist through to the Nurses and Doctors, were polite, friendly and approachable. Although the parking wait was considerable, the treatment and caring attitude of the staff was appreciate.

    My doctor sent me there as I have swelling on my head and he was really worried but when I get there it was 3 hours for triage then they gave me paracetamol when I've been taking codydramol and tramadol with no affect then they tell me it's about 7 hours to be seen so I came home with more of a headache than I went with it's an absolute joke of a service

    To physically go to A&E to then be sent to a doctor who Google’s your medication in-front of you to then be told to go back to A&E where you had been already, to wait for an assessment bed… 8 hours later and due to child care I had to go home to then get a phone call just saying ‘I hope you get it sorted’ Thanks for the great practice. Absolutely horrible.
