    I took my sister to a and e- she has neurological symptoms and I was very worried about her. The service was fabulous- from the receptionist who listened to my worries to the nurse and dr who assessed her. She had bloods a scan and was discharged- we r very lucky to have this service. Thank you

    8 hr wait to be treated, waiting room was standing room only, 2 hrs to see a triage and staff so overwhelmed the care they gave in such difficult circumstances was exceptional just understaffed

    Admitted to aand e fortunately no long waiting times,dealt with quickly, efficiently and with repect by all the staff, transferred to d8 surgical ward, bed readily available and the staff up there amazing nothing too much trouble for them. Professional and totally on top of there jobs. A big thanks to all involved in my care.

    Today I went for my annual check up at chest clinic and I’ve been going here for three years and right from day one of my condition, the staff and my consultant are amazing and so caring and understanding. Everyone needs a medal. I can’t thank everyone enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Xx

    I came in on Saturday 27.08.2022 very nervous to have a colonoscopy. Everybody I came into contact with from the lady on reception to the consultant and his staff who performed the procedure were fantastic and ofcourse very professional. Truthfully it wasn't a very pleasant experience but everybody was so kind and went out of their way to put me at ease.

    Got sent to triage as my feet and ankles have swollen up 2 shoe sizes and the consultant in buxton was on holiday, the nurse/midwife/greeter took my green book but refused to take the handover notes from my midwife and I have been sat waiting for over 2 hours many women have come in, been seen and sent on their way before I've even been seen, I stood at reception for ages (despite my feet being bruised and swollen) just for every member of staff to walk straight past me and ignore my presence. Currently just waiting for my dad to tell me he's here to pick me up because my anxiety levels are so high I don't feel like I can breathe I had to leave the hospital without my green notes because I couldn't get anyone to talk to me. Apparently informing them I have mental health issues is supposed to prevent this sort of situation but clearly that just gets ignored too... doesn't fill me with much confidence for when I give birth here as this is my only option... I'll be lucky to make it to 40 weeks with this level of stress.

    Referred to a and e by 111. Went 9am Saturday morning. Very quiet no ambulances queuing and only 1 person waiting in A and E. Sat for 90 minutes no staff to be seen. Eventually at 10.30 after being completely ignored for 1 1/2 hours just walked out and went home. Thank you Stepping Hill for a lousy emergency service.
