    I was in the Marjory Warren Unit for a whole day for blood tests for endocrinology. I found all the staff to be courteous, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Special thanks to Endocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist Joanne.

  2. Review titled Endocrine Investigation unit

    I have been taking prednisolone for some 14 years and this is the first time that I have heard of 'adrenal crisis', endocrine investigation unit, endocrine nurse, injection emergency kit etc. Should I have been aware about these situations earlier? I would like to know more about steroids. The endocrine nurse was great - very informative in a way a "lay" person can understand. Plenty of time for discussion + explanation - no rush - very easy to talk to. Very grateful to be made aware and hope not have to use injection. Very glad to have attended the meeting. Thank you

  3. Review titled Pre opt appointment at the magnolia suite

    Appointment was running late 40 mins when advised the receptionist but no explanation given and just ask to wait. Having explained that i have finished a full 12 hrs night shift and would have appreciated of no further delays. The rest of the patients were seen pretty much on time apart from me.

    My thanks to the staff at A&E who saw me following a clumsy accident at home. I was in, triaged, stitched up and discharged in no more than 40 minutes. All the staff I saw were great and the treatment was first class.

    My father was referred to A&E from his GP . He was seen quickly. Always spoken to with respect - each individual Introduced themselves. Was allocated a bed on a ward within hours. Thank you

    I visited the urology dept with my father who was undergoing a procedure. Although we had to wait for a considerably long time for our ambulance home, the staff were incredible, making cups of tea, and bringing my father a sandwich. The receptionist even came back from her lunch break early to attend to us. Thank you so much, it was really appreciated.

    Good experience after being rushed in with breathing problems, all necessary tests carried out effectively but the heat was beyond anything I’ve experienced. Certainly made me feel really ill

    Following my discharge after my operation, I found that I couldn't urinate. After developing intense pain, I called 111 around 2-30 am. The response was prompt and in a few minutes I spoke to a clinition who arranged an ambulance which arrived in 10 minutes or so. I was taken to A&E and promptly fitted with a catheter. The treatment I received was prompt, efficient and great relief! I was kept in A&E overnight then sent home with a catheter fitted. I was provided with supplies and told to attend Erology dept. the following week. The treatment I received was prompt and efficient and I was so grateful to the A&E staff who looked after me so well.

    Urgent visit on a Bank holiday Saturday for accidental injury.Was seen and triaged quickly. Treated and sutured within two hours.absolutely well impressed.Thanks so much to everyone that were involved.

    I fractured my wrist in an RTC before Christmas. I have been seen multiple times by the orthopedic team and they have all been brilliant. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient, the nurses in the clinic were very friendly and professional, the consultants were friendly, answered all questions well and I never felt rushed when I spoke to them. The nurses in the plaster room were fabulous and remembered me a few months after my final time in there, which was nice. Overall, I feel the care I've received has been outstanding.
