Review titled Totally unacceptable wait
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Stephen Wilson - Posted on 07 June 2024
Spent 8hours here and still waiting to see a doctor . I was referred here by my GP at Birchwood Medical Centre,Warrigton at 11:00am today. It is now almost 21:00 and I am yet to receive treatment. I have reduced immunity due to current chemotherapy treatment and have spent the last 8hours sitting in this very unhealthy environment.

Review titled Falls short
Rated 1 star out of 5

I had to experience a follow up appointment at Warrington after a visit with Wythenshaw A&E two days previous. The difference in service was noticeable and the waiting time astronomical despite being not as busy as Wythenshaw. I certainly hope I am not taken ill in this area again and need to seek urgent assistance

I attended A&E on 28 May 2024. I would like to express my gratitude to the two medical staffs, in the emergency room for their care. Not only did they provide appropriate treatment, but they also looked after the patients attentively and meticulously. I hope to convey my thanks to them. Having such excellent medical staffs truly deserves commendation.

Review titled Void if you can
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Rafal - Posted on 19 June 2024
The worst nhs service what i even seen in UK. Most of the staff include doctors should be sent it out for traing how to behave with patients. My 3 years old daughter after two visits in Warrington hospital now she's afraid of any doctors of nurses... well done staff from Warrington hospital. They forced with any examinations or medication... After my complain about they behave the answer was sometimes it must be rough other wise we can't help... To 3 years old child???? They kept us for 6 hrs in cold room and my daughter was wear only a t-shirt and nappy. My honest advise if you have got any other hospital where you can get there just go there, void Warrington Hospital.

We would like to thank all the staff on ward b14 for the professional and compassionate way they cared for our mother who sadly passed away on the 24th April. Your continual hard work and positive attitudes were very much appreciated by the family during a very difficult time. Steve Hesketh and Family

Review titled No joined upwriting
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Nigel Shaw - Posted on 27 March 2024
Further to previous review with same title. Advised on Monday needed a scan in a week. Out of the blue on Tuesday asked to attend on Wednesday at 10.30. Travelling for the ultrasound on the Wednesday received phone call from the dept to say the radiologist had reviewed the case and didn’t need a scan for a week. Thought it was all a bit weird as the Consultant had said scan in a week and not 2 days. Another example of staff doing their own thing rather than reading the notes. Particularly annoying as my wife had abdominal surgery only a week ago. No joined up writing.

Review titled Extremely poor staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2024
Alot of staff on duty all sat on seats at the nursing station ranging from doctors down to nurses at one point counted 11 staff drinking bottles of coke etc laughing chatting using personal telephones, 11 serious ill people on the ward all left alone for a long time, no chairs for visitors who were stood up for hours, what as happened to the care, the corridor was full of beds with patients and no beds available on any ward for hours what a state our health service is in.
