Wow what can I say, after a mix up with the urgent treatment centre through 111 we was sent down to the children's department in a&e the two nurses who saw to my son who is suspected SEN were incredible from start to finish. The second they heard him have a wobble they were there offering to put YouTube on the computer trolley for him in a quieter area, to how they gave him the medicine to offering us advice on what antibiotics may be best for his sensory needs and how to administer it. I am blown away by these acts of care. They went above and beyond their duty of care he felt like more than a number. I am overwhelmed and so so grateful. They are angels and I'm so thankful for the incredible service we received you made a child who fears hospital at ease and comfortable and that's all any mother could ask when seeing their child sick.

The reception and triage service is very efficient. The staff are exceptional. It was a very busy time for them but they kept things moving, especially for those needing urgent attention. Unfortunately, I had to wait but I really appreciate the time spent with me. Staff all excellent and cannot be faulted.

Recently had my baby at Worthing hospital and I also needed to be readmitted to the post natal ward Every member of staff was absolutely super. Great communication and such caring people I am so grateful for the high level of care they provided to me and my baby

I had superb care in the Worthing Endoscopy Unit at Worthing Hospital today. All the staff, nurses and doctor were caring and professional throughout. I had been anxious beforehand but I need not have been, I was reassured and very well looked after. Thank you all.

In response to my email enquiry, I received a call from one of the nurses. We went through the issues I was having with my sensor and the nurse explained the reason the issues had arisen and how to address them. Although I've been a diabetic for over 40 years and have a good but layman's understanding of the condition, the nurse explained in a manner that I understood and not using medical gobbledygook. The team team are very supportive and always available for advice and it's much appreciated - many thanks to all concerned.

Admitted for breathing difficulties seen by a triage nurse, had an X Ray and seen a doctor with prescription and out all within 3 hours. I cannot say enough how friendly kind and professional all the staff were. The NHS at its best.

After making my way to the hospital on a rainy morning for major surgery in a haze of fear and apprehension, I was so incredibly grateful to have time take talk through the surgery with both the surgeon (who had been the consultant prior, for which I will leave a separate review under gynaecology) and the anaesthetist. Given that this was the first encounter with the anaesthetist I was really surprised at how quickly I felt at ease and trusting that I was going to be in good hands. For someone to make such a positive impact in such a short space of time is really such a testament to the skill and expertise they bring to the role and the interpersonal skills which are so crucial for patients at such times to make things just a little less frightening. Following the surgery, I didn’t feel any adverse affects form the anaesthesia and I feel this is further testament to the dedication and skill of the anaesthetics team looking after me during surgery - I really cannot thank them enough. The surgeon also did a fantastic job but will review separately, as there is so much to say about them and the exemplary treatment.

Had a chest infection. They carried out an ultrasound, vital check, X-ray, and bloods with professionalism and much care. Very impressed with this hospital on my first visit.

Just wanted to thank to the team at Endoscopy ward. Had a colonoscopy this morning and everything went smoothly, it was well organised and especially a Polish lady was very supportive, unfortunately I didn't catch her name. She has helped me a lot as the experience was quite challenging at times... Thank you so much.

What a gem you have in this hospital. My mother had day surgery yesterday Sunday and the time and care shown by all members of the team could not have been better. Spotless on Chanctonbury Ward, staff nurses so kind, careful evaluation by consultant and anesthetist and giving great consideration to an anxious patient. Overnight stay resulted in her not really wanting to leave! .. Great experience, clean, Great food and such an effort made by everybody and successful operation that will give her a new lease of life. Thank you.
