  1. Review titled Mammogram

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Dr Caroline Sargisson - Posted on 19 January 2023

I attended for my mammogram today & have to commend the service. It was all done in a professional & friendly manner with minimum waiting. The male receptionist was helpful & polite & the whole area was clean & bright. My radiographer put me at ease and conducted the whole procedure with a professional & warm approach. She was just lovely. Thank you

  2. Review titled Fantastic Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My 88 year old father can not praise the NHS enough and does not feel that he would of got any better service if he could have gone private it was 1st class service from the initial GP appointment in November, the scans in December and the procedure in January he couldn't have asked for a better team. They all worked well together and made him feel extremely comfortable with the whole procedure. He had to stay in two nights in ward 12c because his bladder would not empty and the staff kept him informed that this could be the case and all were very kind and helpful.

  3. Review titled My experience

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Seeing a patient bed bond for 1 week and noticing nurses not really giving more attention to that patient was not nice, already that person on her/his lowest part of life and nurses come change them or do there test and gone, no care for them patient, am a carer and seeing the nurses do that really lost my trust. They dint care at all, they was laughing, gossiping, for them was the money first not patients. Its really sad. I lost a loved one while they showed no care at all. It would be nice seeing nurses give time to patients who are bedbond, give extra care. I felt me and my family was doing all there care for them

  4. Review titled Brilliant team

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Since I got into hospital yesterday, the staff have been nothing but amazing with me. Always popping in the room to check if I’m okay or need anymore pain relief. This is my first time out of many operations that I have had it at done in high Wycombe and I and very pleased with the care provided. Big shoutout to all the doctors and nurses. Especially on ward 12b. A massive thank you to the whole team

  5. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Gareth Roblin - Posted on 04 November 2022

I called 111 and was given an appointment at 830am to deal with a hand injury. I was seen by a nurse at 830 and then had an x-ray immediately. I then saw another nurse who diagnosed the injury, provided a splint and gave me advice on looking after the injury. I was finished by 855am. Excellent all round

  6. Review titled Poor information and advice

    by bungle53 - Posted on 01 November 2022

I had a cystoscopy yesterday which resulted in being given an outpatient prescription form which I was told I must get filled today (Sunday), by driving a 60 mile round trip to the nearest hospital with an outpatient pharmacy open on Sunday - the Senior Medic assured me it was. It does not open on Sundays. I cannot understand why they could not give me a prescription for a community pharmacy, and why their knowledge of the hospital systems was so poor.

Thank you to all the staff who helped me this morning at the injuries unit. Rolled my ankle and was in & out in a few hours after x-ray and assessment. Very efficient & great care.

  8. Review titled Telephone system

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Phillip J Snowden - Posted on 05 September 2022

It is totally impossible to contact a human being. You are passed from one automatic answer message to another, to another etc etc Complete frustration trying to contact the Cardiology Dept with reference to a referral by my doctor. I have heard nothing! The recorded message gives numbers to ring so quickly it is impossible to write them down! I give up before I have another heart attack.

  9. Review titled Lack of response to patient needs

by Einstein - Posted on 16 September 2022

I have received a number of confusing letters concerning my heart condition. As the Cardiology Dept and main switchboard do not answer the telephone, I cannot clarify the situation. Also the automatic answering system is defective.

  10. Review titled Annual screening appointment

    by pictorbw85 - Posted on 26 September 2022

I attended for my annual retinal eye screening appointment in September 2022. The hospital was very clean and well signposted. Staff in Outpatients Bay 2 attended to me quickly and I was seen ahead of schedule. While waiting to be seen, I observed staff of all nationalities chatting and assisting one another. They all appeared to be happy in their work. I was very impressed with the service I received.
