    My visit to the clinic was a pleasant experience. I was welcomed by a polite member of staff who although in training was engaging and informative. The person who examined my eyes was equally engaging with a cheery disposition and chat. The person was informative and caring throughout the procedure. The person engaged with me at a level that was kind and helpful.

    This booking process could have been designed by the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Everything is difficult, nothing can be done quickly and easily. Call centre staff do not do what they say they will do, the system only looks after the surgery. The workflow seems to have been designed by someone who is not au fait with the power of the internet. There is no understanding that people can book other, much more complex services quickly and easily but here you are stuck waiting for 28 days for someone to send you a link which doesn't arrive to not be able make an appointment to then be sent back to your GP to start the farce again. What a waste of time for the NHS and the patient

We wish to assure you that we expect high standard care to be provided for all our patients, we value all feedback, and our patients are our utmost priority. Our IT department are in the process of reviewing and updating our bookings app to further improve its functionality and accessibility. We can however confirm that when patients who have received a booking SMS are unable to book their appointment, for any reason, they will receive a letter in the post providing details of how to book this and our contact details. If a patient is still unable to make contact, a member of our team will call the patient.     After getting appointments wrong ,being told to go to the wrong venue, after being promised a call back from a manager ( didn’t happen ) After attending my appointment for glaucoma appointment (the lady was nice, )I had to sit in a rickety old chair that didn’t adjust to height or get me closer to the machine I am short and disabled so it really hurt my back . The lady just said “oh the chairs are all like that” ! Compared to the Warwick eye clinic this is like a third rate service . I never want to go again I would not trust them to do anything to my eyes they are so unprofessional in so many ways I’m going back to Warwick .

    I had 3 appointments and the 1st 2 were very good seen efficiently and with great courtesy. The final visit on the 12th December I was appalled by the overwhelming rudeness of the doctor. When I questioned why he was dilating my pupils as he had said my eyes were ok he wouldn’t reply! He was rude, curt and after his exam said your eyes are fine and turned his back on me to input something onto the computer. I worked in the NHS for over 40 years, this doctor is not fit to be dealing with patients, he has no manners and frankly should have nothing to do with people!

    The actual procedure andprofessionalism was very very good......l do have just a couple of concerns which very old patients or those without " helpers" may find worrying. 1....The eye protection guard ....no additional tape was supplied so affixing the guard would be troublesome for some patients as needed for at least 7 days. 2. The eye drops, only given one bottle when needed for 4 wks ...just advised tocome for more when needed. This may be difficult for some patients.... and finally please ask your discharge nurses to speak up more clearly as many elderly patients are deaf!!!
