The consulation rooms are very centrally located so easy access by public transport & also car park nearby. Extremely friendly staff who both had time to perform the testing diligently and keep to their booking schedule. Thank you .....

3 Appointments - proper explanation only given on third. No reply to 2 emails requesting help. No reply to 2 phone calls Duplication of appointment letters. Requested to make 2 separate appointments for same review. Duplication of appointment letters. Third appointment 1 hour late, but excellent service and explanation of problem.

The date I gave is purely academic. This is still an ongoing issue, ever since chec took over my treatment. Firstly, can I say, I have absolutely no issue with the treatment, Dr's or consultants; they are all first rate. The issue is with their admin and booking service. It really is hard to find anything positive to say about it! Multiple letters for the same appointment, qr codes, website links and telephone numbers that don't work or at best just keep sending you round in circles. Then when you do eventually get through (after days of trying), all you get is being told there are no appointments available in your area for at least 6 months (I needs checks every 12 weeks) or an offer of an appointment circa 200 miles away! (not joking or exaggerating). Just utterly hopeless. I never once had any issues when my local nhs trust saw me 'in house'.

10.20 on Wed 22nd Nov, called the tel no on CHEC/Herts Valley website and got message - 'not available at this time, try later'. Patient's should be able to get through, leave a message or be told why a supposedly open public service cannot be reached. Patient's and carers' time is important!

This medical centre is brilliant ,from consultation to operation was one week. I arrived at 8.30am and came out at 9.45 all done no problems. It was like a production line.Well done
