    I need a check up every 6 months I receive a link which offers me only a few days available all concurrent to my last appointment and have to remind my self to make an appointment in 6 months time. Then when I make an appointment I receive 3 separate confirmation letters on consecutive days.

    Got called in by by doctors to the wrong department after then checking my details seen i was the wrong lady on the bed came back out and have been sat waiting to be seen for the procedure that I actually came for on the letter it says to been seen with in 15 minutes what a load of lies

    My wife received notification of her 6 monthly Glaucoma monitoring. Had been visiting Classic Eyes in Penn Hill for many years. CHEC can't book there any longer, and were given choice of Westbourne or Christchurch. Both locations are not as accessible as Penn Hill, and change after many years is not good for the patient. I have tried to find out if I can buy this service privately for her at our normal opticians, Specsavers. They have informed me that unless we have a 'green form', any results would not be considered by NHS (CHEC) should a referral for more treatment be necessary. They also informed me that CHEC is removing independent opticians from their list for this service. OK if the replacements are as accessible. It must be difficult to have the local knowledge about Poole and surrounds from a desk in Preston ! If any of my facts are wrong, particularly regarding not being able to have privately paid results recognised, I would welcome advice. Happy to help out the NHS and pay privately to retain current Penn Hill Location if that can be arranged.

    I went to CHEC Watford and my experience was exemplary. From the person in reception to the doctor who performed my procedure I couldn’t speak more highly of. The doctor totally put me at ease and was very kind and calming and obviously very experienced. I would thoroughly recommend CHEC to anyone who asks.

    I visited the Accrington clinic and the service from reception to having my eye Lasered was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the technician explained everything in detail, a very pleasant experience. Very professional. The whole experience including treatment was 25 mins?

    I phoned the community eye service as directed by the hospital however I found them to be without empathy and not willing to either listen to the symptoms or to advise on what the next steps could be .In the end I had to contact NHS111 to be referred back to the eye clinic at the hospital.

    Impossible to contact surgery on either reception or emergency telephone numbers provided just told to call back this went on for over 2 hours not what I would expect from a provider who claims to be so efficient

    The people I saw were friendly and efficient. They both knew how to use the equipment necessary to do the limited tests that they do. It is just concerning that they do not ever do the dilated eye exam which the previous firm Evolutio would do from time to time.
