    Pre and post op staff were very informative and very caring. But my experience in theatre was I don’t really know how to explain it. But I didn’t feel comfortable I’ve had some previous ops and have never felt this before. One thing that was stressed was not to shower or get water in the eye. After the procedure and before the shield I had a lot of liquid run down my face and neck. Then after the procedure was told to sit up so I sat on edge of the bed whilst staff busied themselves doin I suppose what they do but I was at a loss as to what I was supposed to do. I returned to the clinic the following day as my eye was painful and very sore and my vision was very blurred as it still is. An appointment was made the following day for a scan and check up. The new lens was found to be cloudy, of every person I have spoken to not one has had problems with cloudy vision. In my mind could the lens be faulty or could in ingress of liquid post op have some bearing on the blurred vision.

    The letter said don't drive to inconvenient location. I did not have any eye drops, so could have driven. I had 2 short tests same as I had at my local optician. Today I received 2 more texts asking me to book same appointment again. CHEC Nottingham is an administrative mess.

    Quick and efficient test process today. Managed to get a cancellation as normally the wait time can be as much as 1 month. Otherwise all good.

    I rang C H E C & they gave me info about who to contact locally for a M E C S examination. I contacted optician next day & got offered an appointment the same morning! I attended & had the examination & was advised what to do next. Fantastic!

    I arrived for an appointment for cataract surgery at 9 am on Friday 15th September. After waiting an hour and a half , l queried with Reception why l hadn't been called; only to find that l hadn't been booked in, despite my having checked in at 9am. It was a complete waste of my time, and cost me over 60 pounds in taxi fares. I will now seek treatment elsewhere.

    Attended my local CHEC and was seen very promptly. The member of staff I saw was very professional and was able to answer my questions in a comprehensive way. It was a good experience for me and very efficiently carried out. Top marks from me.
