    There was no welcome in the CHEC Poundbury reception and the 2 staff continued to talk about their future time-shifts in a back room. These 2 then operated 2 eye machines when 1 did it at Specsavers. There was no immediate feedback - unlike at Specsavers. The analysis replicated some of the analysis already undertaken at Specsavers. So did I waste most of a morning and did the NHS get good value from this outsourced service?

    The pre surgery call didn't feel me with confidence. The Dr didn't identify himself at 1st then he talked about the 2nd op 1 or 2 weeks after the 1st. This is not what I have been told by my optician.

    Was amazed at the service so quick and efficient. Also ecstatic at the result. Can’t believe how clear and colourful everything is. Can now see car numberplates and road traffic signs clearly. Can also see all writing on the tele, and everything is so bright and clear, all in detail. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much. The best birthday present ever.

    Had a very good experience at Worcester CHEC. All very friendly and I was seen very promptly, even seeing Consultant half an hour early. Very easy to find and park. Thank you

    I had an appointment in Watford at 0830 on 17 September, I left a review two days ago that was completely incorrect. I have re-read my appointment instructions and I now see that I did not have an appointment with a specialist and that in fact everything was done correctly and as described in the appointment confirmation letter. There was a delay due to someone calling in sick but the delay was minor and was not an inconvenience. Apologies for my previous review. I will be sure to read the next appointment letter correctly.     The staff were professional, the place looked clean. The surgery was pretty good. It went smoothly, no problem whatsoever. The vision improved with the right eye, much clearer vision.

    I have been sent 4 booking invitations for my glaucoma monitoring but when I tried to book in to follow up with my opthalmology appointment with a booking in ID the website goes no further after you have entered you information. I rang the number on the form and it takes you nowhere, it told me they will be in contact within 28 days absolute rubbish and a complete waste of my time.

    My gran came in for surgery today and was really nervous. So much so she almost cancelled. When we arrived today, she was met by a man. He could tell instantly that she was extremely nervous and immediately put her at ease with his calming manner. While in the room, my gran was still a bit nervous but on leaving the room she asked him for a hug to calm her nerves and he did it without hesitation. He even put his big arm around her and walked her into the next waiting area. He was so kind. When she got discharged she was waiting in the main waiting area and he took time out to sit with her and have a little chat to make sure she was OK. He is a credit to CHEC. My gran wanted to leave this review so he could get recognition for being truly amazing. My gran thinks if there were more people like him the world would be a better place. He has left a mark on my gran who is so grateful for his kindness. Please pass on this praise. He is a wonderful member of staff and a wonderful human being.
