    My elderly mother was referred to this service, and I have been with her on a number of occasions, or they’ve organised transport if I’ve been unable to take her. They are efficient, polite and easy to contact. I’ve been really impressed with the service and standard of care she has received. Thank you.

    Very impressed with the complete care and treatment, would not hesitate to recommend the practice. My notification of appointment dates were followed up with confirmation on my mobile as well as letter form from my computer. Thank you to all the staff involved in my treatment

    it was not far for my husband to take me which was better for me the optician explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable the reception was very helpful i was not waiting long i went straight in to the optician i would recommend this surgery at ash grove knottingley

    My father had catarrh surgery at the CHEC Centre in Accrington. He was very impressed with the whole process, from first contact with bookings team to the actual operation. The surgeon was reassuring and happy to chat with him, making him feel like a valued individual as a posed to just another 'eye' on a production line of procedures. He experienced no pain at all during the surgery and only minimum discomfort a few hours afterwards. Thank You CHEC.

    The staff were professional, the place looked very clean, the surgery was a little bit of a shock but I was fine. It did hurt a little a bit. However the eye is now brilliant after healing.

    Very poor experience today at Chec Blackpool - had 2 appointments and both ran late Worst bit was a very rude doctor who:- * criticised previous doctors at other hospitals and told me their prescriptions were all wrong * criticised me for following their advice and following their prescriptions. Told me that I should not have followed their prescriptions but made changes to them myself - Me, a layman !!?? * used out of date medical history, and refused to listen to recent updates on my medical history which were completely relevant to my eyes Very disappointing and got me very worried and felt a complete loss of trust in this service.

    Extremely frustrated that first appt was for an OCT scan which I'd had done at my opticians 3 weeks previously and was the reason for referral to CHEC. Now have to wait another month to see a consultant and can't get my new prescription glasses at least until then. Why don't the services share information to save money and time and speed up clinical processes???!

    Following an Eye appointment at Stevenage CHEC I was selected for a cataract replacement. The process was very carefully checked and within a couple of weeks I went in for the Surgery. The Operation painless and only slight discomfort some time afterwards. The staff could not have been more helpful, and I would recommend this Health Centre to any person that requires this surgery.
